We've been telling you about the dangers of dirt bikes and ATVs on Philadelphia streets for a long time. Police are succeeding in getting some of them off the road. Kerri Corrado has more on the crackdown.

Just one of the reasons I do not visit Philadelphia. The politicians give people licencse to break the law, do nothing about it, and then you do a news feature showing an alarmed citizenry, most of whom voted for the progressive politicians who run the political and justice system in Philadelphia. If only someone could promote the moving of Philly's great hospitals to the suburbs. Then I could avoid Philadelphia forever.

Don’t think for one minute that some of the police aren’t on ending up with some of these machines. Just like gun buyback’s, some of the stuff disappears from the impound area by the police themselves. I’m sure the serial numbers will be obliterated but when you’re getting it for free it doesn’t matter. I can give you one example from Westmoreland County Pennsylvania where a sheriffs deputy was caught selling a gun that was confiscated previously and in their evidence locker. The sheriff at the time said that he had no idea this was going on. However, I had a friend with a federal firearm license and he told me years before that that he had been buying guns all along from sheriffs deputies. He wasn’t buying them every day or every month but when the sheriffs deputies could sneak them out and they were no longer needed for evidence they came to him. How do I know so much about this, the sheriff deputy was my neighbor and the federal license firearm dealer was an associate of mine for legal business dealings.
