@@patrinmaddison3534 no one poached him. g2, cloud 9 and other teams asked fnc to speak with caps and he in the end decided to go to g2. however he would have left anyways, caps said multiple times that the main reasons why he left was that they had a lot of problems, but didn't want to solved them. that's also why the first half of spring 2019 fnc were losing that bad.

"LEC fans hate OG". As someone who has watched EU LCS/LEC for almost every week since season 3 and supported EU teams in every international event, while also being a hardcore OG fan, I would like to give you some perspective in what being an OG fan feels like. Back in Season 3, there were a number of teams that were actually good, but there was one single team that would stand out: Fnatic. The line up was Soaz, Cyanide, xPeke, Rekkles(not official yet) and YellowStar. Their playstyle almost immediately caught my attention, but more than that it was their personalities, especially xPeke and Cyanide. Those guys were not only top players, but they had this childlike, trickster behaviour were they would just make videos playing and fooling around. My love for these people was, basically, one of the biggest reasons that I took so much interest in watching pro LoL. There was also another team that was considered to be top, and also the "rivals" for Fnatic, SK Gaming, with their midlaner Ocelote. Also, at this time, there was this popular clip of xPeke backdooring as Kassadin vs SK, which only made me like them more. Having followed them for a year, I couldn't wait for them to perform at Worlds, but my friends were hyping American teams, and especially this Cloud9 team. So when they faced each other at quarters I was actually scared. I will never forget that Kassadin game by xPeke and that win. Back in the end of season 4, Cyanide announced retirement. xPeke and Soaz decided to leave the team and join a new team together with former TSM jungler Amazing, this oldschool support Mithy and this rookie ADC called Niels. They qualified for the EU Championship Series (it was these days 2nd League), so in my free time I watched to see for how they did. Needless to say, they smashed that competition and just promoted to EULCS for summer. Then they performed really good, and placed eventually 2nd behind the 18-0 Fnc. Qualifying for Worlds they had the hardest group ever: KT Rolster, LGD Gaming and TSM. Every analyst counted them out as the worst team in this Group, but not only did they get out of groups, but reached semi-Finals, which was actually a really big deal at the time. Eventually the team fell off, especially after their botlane left to go to G2, their rival team, the team of Ocelote. I was so sad about this. At some point they became so bad, that they would relegate from EU LCS. I had some teams that I supported, but none to this extent, or with this passion. So, when they returned to LEC, even under the umbrella of Astralis, I had this relief. My team was finally back. At this point, I would like to state something about what I believe being a fan of a club in any sport is. It is about honoring their roots, and your roots as well. It's about a connection, something deeper than the current roster, who is the manager, the coach or the president of that team. It's the team of your hometown, or the team that your dad supports, or simply a team that you love since you ve been a kid. To me, Origen is that connection to these old days, were I was playing LoL with my friends and watching pro games, admiring Cyanide and xPeke. It's a connection to these moments of joy that these people gave me. I honestly love every single G2 player, but I simply cant support this team, the team of Ocelote, the team that stole our botlane. I cant expect why it is. I don't hate the players or Carlos, I actually find them amazing. But they are my teams rivals. I will always root for Origen, to the end of their 50 minute games, even if they end up being 10th place. Dom, you probably will never read this, but if you do I ask you to think to yourself. Do you really believe that a person who has only watched last year, and mindlessly supports G2, because they wanna support the winners, is more of an LEC fan than I am? Because I honestly do not think so. Supporting the winner is fine, but there is some thing about having a team that you always supported, that makes their rare wins so much more fullfilling as a viewer. To put in other words: being an OG fan, is what being a DIG fan would be, if Scarra or qt were still behind the team. To me, it's always the team of xPeke and Cyanide.

Predictions are always made before draft. Week 5 Day 2 pred: Game 1: SK Game 2: RGE Game 3: OG Game 4: FNC Game 5: G2

FNC offered him the (head?) coach position years ago and he declined, I think he has some videos about it on his channel. I think he might be better suited to a GM role as his ideas on how pieces fit together in a team are typically very well thought out and based on a consistent model/logic.
