Remember when the world was a simple place and all we had to worry about were The Troubles of Northern Ireland? This song...and this specific performance are forever frozen in my mind. For those of us who were there when it broke, we know...and we'll always know. God bless Dolores O'Riordan, God bless the Cranberries and God bless all those in Northern Ireland trying to live free. May they some day all know peace and never live in fear of the Zombies evermore.

I watched this live when I was 12. It was probably the first SNL episode I ever watched. I probably didn't know it then, but this is one of the best live performances on SNL of all time. I watch it often now. So good!
