How many quotations do you recommend we learn for each character?

I wouldn't say there's a magic number, but I'd recommend you know enough quotations so that you've got a full spread from throughout the play. For Scrooge you definitely need to know at least one per stave (if not more), each Spirit might deserve 3-4 each, and the Cratchits deserve at least one per stave in which they appear!
