This started off as a clock. Unfortunately I have no idea what I am doing. Using pencils really wasn't what I thought it would be. @Andy Phillip makes it look easy. Boy are his videos deceptive. But the good news is that I finished it. That's something right?

I love that you always show the crazy stuff you do. It really helps all of us and you always explain how to avoid the problems. Why not cut it in to small pieces had some more small cut up pencils some glitter maybe some really small plastic beads a hand full of colourful paper clips mix it up chuck it in the pressure pot tap it down and see wot comes out then make a nice colourful clock with a couple of dark colourful pencils for hands. Loved the video Ken take care see you again soon 👍👍👍😊😊😊♥️

I’ve done a ton of these bowls, the pencils are made from Cedar, the “leads” are made from wax. Take out all the black ones because they really bleed when sanding. I sand very little and use epoxy to finish making sure you’ve got about 1/16” covered then sand 800-1000 grit polish with dyi polish. They sell like crazy, but a mess in the shop. 👍🇺🇸

The fact that you had some challenges getting things the way you want means you tried something new that pushes your abilities. Colored pencil projects are challenging because you have to find the right balance between getting enough pencils in that they wedge eachother in place yet still leave from for resin to get in. Would've been a sweet clock but it's still a sweet bowl.
