I was just listening to Marie Laveau by Bobby Bare a couple of days ago. It got my curiosity up as to whether she was a real person or just a made up name for the song. I Goggled her, and she was real. Interesting info on her in Wikipedia.😃

Of course I want more Funny Country Songs. I have been signed up ready and always waiting for the next video since I first came across video #3 then went back and found video 1 & 2. You answered my comment. Thank you for keeping ur word on Jerry Reeds Amos Moses as I suggested. Love that talented man. I whole heartedly love❤and very much appreciate this channel. Big👍. I grew up on these songs. I’m 59 and not ashamed to admit it. Another suggestion I haven’t seen one of my many favorites is John Michael Montgomery’s Sold! The Grundy County Auction. Another is Moma She’s Lazy. My step dad said it was about me but that was only bc I liked both the original and comedic versions. Never worried about his sarcasm but I do LOVE ❤ ur channel. Jack Blanchard & Misty Morgan's follow-up to "Tennessee Birdwalk" was "Humphrey the Camel". It was a hit on the Country chart but didn't cross over to the Pop chart like "Birdwalk" did. Here in the mountainous region of the Cordillera, Philippines, we the native Igorots (one of the major indigenous group of our country) was influenced heavily by country music when American colonized our country. I never thought of Red necks White socks and Blue Ribbon Beer as a joke or novelty song. It's more of a red neck anthem.

It could be in the theme of red neck anthem or even possibly a drinking song as well.

An interesting story about Charlie Pride was after he moved to what was then a very white North Dallas, he was mowing the yard, and a lady drove up and complimented him on the job he was doing and asked what he charged for his services. He replied that he did not really have a set price but that the lady at this house would sleep with him. The lady rolled up her window and drove away.

Can we get some international flair to these lists? Here are some crazy songs from Canadian country legend Stompin' Tom Connors; Bud the Spud, The Bug Song, The Ketchup Song and Rubberhead. Also, how about I Like Beer by Tom T. Hall?

You make a great point. Since episode 2, most of these songs I have mentioned are based on comments. I think it would be great to have folks that may not have heard crazy songs from other countries to be exposed to them. I am writing the script for Crazy Songs 7 now so one of these artists will be featured!

I love your vids brother. But, I think Johnny Russell’s “Blue Ribbon Beer” should be in the prior episode of “Greatest Drinking Songs”. Just saying. Btw , I only drink PBR. lol. I’m a little prejudice lol.
