I hope that someday, the use of phrases like filming and filmmakers, get shoved under the carpet where they should've been shoved a couple decades ago when film became essentially obsolete. Add to that list, taping and 'they've got tapes'.

It's certainly not "only 2k resolution". In fact, it's very, very close to (if not exactly) the same PPI (pixels per inch) as LGs 32-inch UltraFine 4k monitor.

I’d love to see a video or some sort of content on how to rig a monitor above your main monitor like we see in the b-roll here. Great video by the way!

What about color grading? Which monitor do you actually say “okay this is the one i’m gonna color grade on for true color”

I purchased the one with desk stand. I plan on getting second one with the arm. I hope I can purchase an arm separately.

I have no idea why nobody realizes the real resolution & value of this model, not youtubers and not even LG official marketing!! Such a shame!! 4k is the count of pixels, around 8.3 million. Contrary to the non-tech common-man's illusion that a 32-4k would be much better than a 27-4k, it is actually worse. When you check pixel density, the ppi (pixels per inch), 27-4k has 163 and 32-4k has just 140. This model also has 140. So, THE LG DUALUP is nearly AS GOOD AS a 32-4K, WOW!! 2560 x 2880 = 7,372,800 pixels (LG DUAL-UP) 3840 x 2160 = 8,294,400 pixels (ANY OTHER 27-4K or 32-4K MODEL) (7,372,800 / 8,294,400) x 100 = 89% (so, the LG DualUp has 89% of the pixel count that a so-called "4K" display has) LG DUALUP has 7.4 million pixels. Normal 4K displays have 8.3 million pixels. 27-4k = 163 ppi 32-4k = 140 ppi (worse pixel density than 27-4k, since the same number of "4k" = 8 million pixels are now spread out on a much larger surface area) DualUp = 140 ppi (as much pixel density as a 32-4k) ** If you look at this as the 2560*2880 pixels spread out on 27.6 inch diagonal size screen, the ppi is 140 ** If you look at this as the vertically stacked 2 * (2560*1440 pixels spread out on 21.5 inch diagonal size screen), the ppi is 137 Both are pretty close to 163 of a 27-4k. If you analyze the usual "2K" monitors: 2560 * 1440 = 3,686,400 pixels on a standard 27 inch = 108 ppi 2560 * 1440 = 3,686,400 pixels on a standard 32 inch = 91 ppi Clearly the LG DUALUP is a LOT better than the so-called "2K" monitors. So, I repeat, LG DUALUP is NOT a 2K resolution display!! It is a near-4K resolution display!!

I have one. Hard to use the included monitor arm if your room is cramped and your desk is up against a wall. Otherwise, I use this as my main monitor for school work and my widescreen for spreadsheets.

what are the monitors dimensions? LG specs only have it along with the stand, I'm interested only about the display to see how it will fit along other displays setup.
