lol, I live in the Texas panhandle and hunt there and I’ve hunted Georgia in country like you are in. It was so different. Blew my mind. We bow hunted pigs in January. They were hard to see in the palmetto cover. And like you once was enough. But, I did kill two eating size ones.

I have hunted all over the southeast and live central Florida. Florida is by far the toughest state I’ve ever hunted in. They don’t move very much during the day because of the heat and they are very skittish.

I live and hunt in N. Central Florida. Both on public and private land. UNLESS you had that bait pile operating for six straight months in a row, then it is nothing but an ILLEGAL bait pile in the woods!!!! Period.....

I hunt in Louisiana. We have more palmettos than that area some are 7 foot tall! Don’t kill much. Lol

I'm pretty certain your not allowed to hunt over bait in any florida public land. Might want to check your brochures.

You can bait on private land in Florida for everything except for turkeys, for turkeys you have to be Atleast 100 yards away from the feeder.
