The Crazy 1 Bedroom/ 1 (Giant) Bathroom House In Thailand Has Finally Sold !! What's It Like Now !!

Today I go back to visit the rather qwerky 1 bedroom/1 bathroom house in Ban Tak Thailand. We visited in 2021 and although surrounded by beautiful scenery and the Ping river, most of us thought this would be a difficult property to sell. Well, 2 years on and it recently came off the market, so I go and take a look at this interesting house. Will it be a private residence or maybe something else? I go to check and see.

I remember your first visit to this unique property. Good to see someone took this on with such a vision. Got to admit I was secretly hoping as you went up you'd be told one level would be a bedroom/living area and the other an even larger bathroom taking up the whole level. Good idea to revisit and see the progress - still early stage. It will be worth checking out (or perhaps even staying) in half a year from now Saw the vid when it came out, and it sticked for a particular reason 😃 Wouldn't worry about y t too much

I pity the one who has to maintain the pool :D That overhang on the middle roof is going to let all the rainwater with dirt stream right down into the pool.. Typical Thai building with not putting up gutters etc. It truly is hard for a european to get ones head around the mindset there, but that is what makes it so lovely and different :)

That pool is not a proper lap pool, unless one is a carp. There is nothing like a 50 meter pool for laps for human swimmers.

The location on the river is prime but the layout of the building was indeed odd. Converting the pool to an infinity edge and making the patio [next to the first floor] larger would be nice! Eight bedrooms and four bathrooms seem a bit odd. The roofing and unfinished columns need attention. Sort of a DIY renovation without a plan.
