Looking forward to the video about draconians, the noble draconians are some of my favorites.

I will get there.

I enjoy Dragonlance for being the one RPG setting where divinity isn't treated as something to be "gotten rid of" or "outgrown."
@DLSaga2 жыл бұрын
Yea, for me it connects with our ancestors. Where in ancient cultures, the gods were real and had real impact on their lives.

Green dragons are my favorite ,if I have a character powerful enough I will try to subdue it .one thing that often confuses me do the elves go to corellion or some other god in arvandor upon death or a specific krynnish gods realm? Dragonlance books are pretty vague in their description of the afterlife and don't really tie in to sigil and the outer planes like forgotten realms does .it was my impression all d&d worlds are linked to the outer planes
@DLSaga3 жыл бұрын
It is never mentioned that I know of, so I think it's up to the DM. There has been a lot of back and forth about Dragonlance connecting with all other worlds or not in D&D 3.5. As it stands, it's up to the fans.

Need a long indepth video on all the races.

I have a lot of specific race videos on the channel.

I wish they used the Tay-Folk...the Tayling and Tayland twin races was an interesting group found in the Dragonlance Monsterous Compendium. Twin creatures one look like a Half-Elf and a Spellcaster and its Twin a Humanoid looking fighter type... one dies the other gets suicidal berserking.

I’ll look into those. I’ll return with a more creatures of Krynn episode in the future.

These creatures are much more fun to me as opposed to those similar offshoots established in WoW. I wonder how much creature lore is copyrighted by Wizards of the Coast in case new indie devs would wonder to craft something similar? 🤔
@DLSaga2 жыл бұрын
I’m not sure how they could copyright them but DL made eternal stamps on a lot of standard creatures!

It's probably important to note that the dragons of Krynn are moderately different from the forgotten realms dragons. The most noticeable difference in my opinion is the blue dragon. Mostly because the change makes more of a dark warrior/Knight, where in forgotten realms dragons are more like mob bosses.

This is inaccurate it is just most Faerun dragons are this
@mobbofmobs89373 жыл бұрын
I am not sure what you mean by that the forgotten realms implies faerun and and the rest of the planet of torale(?) Just like grey hawk is it's own setting with it's own planet. Further more I wasn't trying to all dragons just the ones that look like the main ones in every setting. The only other thing I can think of that might not be clear is that what I meant is that the dragons of Dragonlance have a much stronger connection to humans probably because of their gods and so interact differently, you don't see very many dragons riders in the forgotten realms do you?

@@mobbofmobs8937 So the boring bits of dragonlance. We gonna talk about the demigod that blinds dragons?
@mobbofmobs89373 жыл бұрын
I don't know what you expect from me because it's seems like you are just trying to say, but I am right because I said I am. Explain your reasoning I don't know who told you that phonics are real but they lied to you. So I say again explain what you mean, how am I incorrect? I am not a mind reader so tell me otherwise this is pointless.

Isn't it pronounced as taka-sis... not tuh kee sis

Not by me. There are suggested pronunciations for the gods in the holy Order of the Stars sourcebook.

Ugh! _Sil-va-NES-ti_ and _Qua-li-NES-ti_ ("Nesti" meaning "nation" in elvish). You're putting the em-PHASIS on the wrong sy-LABLE again. If I didn't know better, I'd think you were British.

ESP is Extra Sensory Perception.... i.e. seeing through another's eyes not TELEPATHY.
@DLSaga3 жыл бұрын
Yea.... I just parroted the Dragonlance Adventures sourcebook rather than think about it. This is what they printed: Shadowpeople can communicate via a set of squeaks and growls that forms a primitive language, but they arc much more likely to use their advanced ESP abilities to send and receive messages. This ESP accounts for the Shadowpeople's low Armor Class: In combat they are able to anticipate the actions of their enemies and take measures to defend against it. Looks like it is a mix of telepathy and esp.
@DiploRaptor3 жыл бұрын
@@DLSaga This is true I just wanted to note that. The shadowpeople are a strange addition to a setting that avoided dark elves
