Hey Ben, I'm super late , but do you do any type of churning to get new sign up bonuses on any of your cards or do you just rely on regular spending and welcome bonuses for cards you don't have already? I'd rather do the latter, but I don't know if it's feasible to rely only on regular spending for free travel.

I dont really churn, but i do apply for 1 or 2 new cards per year. Business cards are great when you dont want to add new personal cards that show on your credit report. You can cancel cards as well, just do it over a longer period, i dont do the “open for one year then close” thing

Depends on the hotel, but yes at Hilton Tel Aviv you get access to the club lounge

There is a 125k offer available for the platinum Amex as well as 10x on gas and groceries for six months. Your better off getting the platinum first Schwab is good for cashing out for 1.25x

On a daily basis, Freedom Flex, Amex Gold, CSR. For amazon purchases the Amazon credit card, for Photography equipment from B and H, I use the Payboo card. All business purchases = Ink Preferred, taxes = Hilton Surpass

Someone should make an app where credit card points from all the credit card companies can be converted into 1 whole point system so that you can book flights with different point amounts in different cards

That is not an "app" issue. The transferring of points requires a lot of partnerships and deals with all of those financial institutions. I don't think that AMEX, Chase and Cap One, etc, would like someone to fuse their points into one system, unless it's a well known airline or hotel.

Actually for the points I earned through referrals, they do actually get reported to the IRS and I paid tax on them. The points I earn through spending and welcome bonuses are considered a rebate and are not taxable
