The first purge movie makes you wonder why those purging in groups never wondered if someone in that group was going to kill them. I mean if they're able to perform any crime that night then what's stopping them from killing each other over tiny disagreements?

@@Poison_Spider8 which is why I always figured that if the neighbours in the first movie had succeeded in killing the family if they wouldn't have turned on that preppy bossy blonde neighbour instantly afterwards - she just struck me as being not only really annoying but also really bossy, like she just instantly assumes she's the leader in everything (the 'I'll go first then we'll take turns' line and the 'Mary and the kids will have to do' line') and just takes control of every situation without asking anyone, and that she likewise thinks she's "so damned perfect". And of course there's that bit in the third movie when a woman shot her husband because she couldn't stand him when they went out together for the purge but instead of feeling better like she was told she would she basically had a panic attack out of horror at what she'd done

The answer to your question is as simple as it is strange, it is trust. Would you go out with a group if you were afraid they would stab you in the back? Would others go out into the night with you if they were afraid you would stab them in the back? Of course not, it is just common sense and the need for a group to improve your own chances of survival and also to be more successful in hunting. This may all sound strange when you see the scenes, but the "murderers" in these films are not madmen, even if they may look like that to us. What you see here are normal people who, for one night, are uncontrolled and unpunished, free from all social, societal and moral inhibitions. The same can be seen in real life in war zones. I hope this answers your question.

The "candy girls" and their entourage arr by far the scariest. While not shown here, they had a companion wearing a "voodoo doctor mask" and wearing negligee, white stockings and heels sporting an assault rifle who was "hot" and silently terrifying. The fact that she lived (was at the back door) scares me more!

yeah, they're pretty scary. Though I have to admit after 'La Pequena Muerta' killed them all with no theatrics, no masks, no blood all over her, no costumes, no lights on her car, no music blasting, no fancy looking weapon just a plain ordinary gun and without going hysterical or maniacally screaming, laughing or chanting messed up nursery rhymes or even really swearing......well compared to her they seemed almost a bit pathetic in a 'all flash, no bang' kind of a way. Don't get me wrong, when we see them first they're terrifying but after Laney killed them so easily they seemed kind of lame - still think her expression during that scene basically said "amateurs".

Wondering who would win, the gangs from the purge or the gangs from the warriors. Granted, people who go out to hunt int he purge save up to get better weapons, but half of them look like amateurs who only go out like that once a year while the gangs from the warriors live that life and don't wait for the law to give them the ok.
@IchhabezuvielYoutubegegucktO_o Жыл бұрын
@@agenttheater5 Yeah and in the series there is an event which is an homage to the movie. They have prisoners who were caught doing crimes shortly after the end of the last purge and were sentenced to death. Those are released in a forest inside of an electric fence and rich people dress up like hunters decades ago and hunt them with vintage rifles.

my own idea was to take the purgers to a secret place where they're stripped of their clothes, put in the stocks, made to look at themselves in a distorted mirror, then when he prune is ended get some simple clothes back and some food but all their weapons, money and phones are gone so they have to figure out how to get home amongst the carnage left over from the purge
