@@Totomeister yeah they just arrested him about a month ago. Grand jury trial was last week and they indicted him, full trial is coming up soon. He also shot two other people that night. The guy he was aiming at was hit in the spine, and is paralyzed from the waist down now. Also my sister-in-law’s fiancé took a stray bullet to the leg. He was on crutches for about 3 weeks but is fine now with no ill effects other than a scar.

True fact about guns: They are, in whole, ineffective.... Seriously.... Look at any shooting statistics from Chicago on any given weekend and the number of shot are almost always three or more times more than those fatally shot. Another fact: It's very rare that a single shot will kill a person. I've personally seen a gun shot victim come into the hospital(I work at a level one trauma center) with a gun shot wound to the head. The round entered the skin, failed to penetrate the skull, went AROUND the skull under the skin and exited on the back side of the head. No joke, I've seen this twice in the last 7 years.
