Tammy Archuleta yes girl your right about that. A lot of people talk bad about Albuquerque but they don’t know the struggle of living here. That’s why I’m glad there’s video like this so it can bring awareness. That’s why it’s up to us to make a difference in our community. People think that this video is scary but this ain’t nothing to the things that really happen here!!!

@@danielmanville2480 well damn! I can't believe you responded, much respect!! I never gang banged but grew up in the warzone in the 80's and have those street smarts that kept me from getting clocked too many times. That's how kids learn right? They fall off and get hurt a little and learn to jump better and not fall off again, lol. Most kids these days grow up too sheltered.

I live in the Desert Southwest...moved around a bit, El Paso, Albuquerque, Lubbock, Tucson...and one thing I've always found humorous...no matter where you go, there's these 'replanted rich white people' that moved here 2-years ago, 3-years ago, that just won't hear how 'this town has its dirty side'. Whether you're standing in El Paso and KNOW what (and who) comes across the border near Tornillo, or how many thousands of dollars of drugs were sold last night in Old Town...they will argue with you and say 'NOT HERE'! You ask them, 'you ever go down to Old Town's back streets, or walk the fence near Chamizal', they'll say 'well of course not'...nope, because they're in their rich gated barrio, with their ADT security and police on speed-dial. You tell them, 'well, I've lived here all my life...grew up speaking Spanish and English, been lucky to walk out of more than one place alive...let me tell you, it's all still here...its just more subtle, not as much in-your-face, and you aren't even brave enough to live like I do, to actually open your eyes and see it. They call me a liar for 'saying things that aren't true', but they won't open their eyes to even see what's in front of them. Their 'trying to fix it' has only made it worse, because how can you fix a problem, that you won't even admit exists, let alone understand the beast for what it really is? If you REALLY KNOW what goes down, some of the saddest humor you'll ever read, are a lot of these internet 'review sites' for tourism and 'should I move there' places...it never fails, some retired rich old white woman telling me about culture, while denying a BIG PART of the 'real culture' that they don't understand, and don't want to admit to, or talk about...telling other 'rich white retirees' to come on down and don't be prejudiced in the process...they need to 'understand the culture first'. My god, what a joke.

Only rich white people do those reviews? You need to expand your searches on youtube. Now, if you've lived in El Paso you would know that the majority are hispanic, and many, many rich people from Mexico are moving in. Seems like you're angry and hating on a certain group of people. Now before you call me white or racist. I'm first generation American. Trust me, the " replanted " rich are mostly from Mexico. Drive up any rich neighborhood and you see them. I'm not saying its a bad thing, its just happening. There are different types of cultures. I didnt grow up rich, but my culture was not gangs, it was work. So the culture these white rich ladies are speaking of is not gang culture, but El Paso Culture.
