Why is it that the references in The Critic bring me nothing but nostalgic joy while Family Guy's references only bring me pain?
@JinxSanity3 ай бұрын
Cause Family Guy jokes about media tend to be mean spirited and just shocking just to be edgy. Like the Aquaman joke, where the entire joke is just "Hey look Aquaman is useless! Get it that's funny! Also let's add some woman about to get rape in the beach as Aquaman can't do anything to help her 🙃". The jokes on the critic where often to mock the industry going big on unnecessary sequels, franchises and extravagant ideas. Family Guy just feels like written by people who are angry that they can't do anything besides Family Guy like Seth McFarland.
@jogiff2 ай бұрын
