Last thing, do you know what that note(s) that is playing constantly during the rockier section? It's like a 'gong' sound.

I don't think it's actually a guitar sound - more like a tympani synth stab of some sort; probably a stock Fairlight sample which he used pretty heavily on SOTT. 😎
