Theres a crossing technique that stands above the rest, defenders hate it, goalies don’t know if they are coming or going, and even your own team mates are sometimes caught on the back foot admiring your technical brilliance.. But you put it in the right areas, and it’s undefendable..
The technique I’m referring too is the Whipped cross: this flat, low lying, spinning ball, is cooked up with enough power and accuracy, that make it a nightmare to defend, and a dream to attack.. And we're going to learn it!!
With 5 simple steps, that you can utilised in various part of your game! So if you're ready, let’s jump in!
Cheers Folks,

hey Football Folk amazing video like always, presented in an interesting way and packed with to the point information. I love how you lead your viewers to understanding stuff. A viewer is then joining a journey to improve on specific area but actually without frustration and stress on how to achieve particular thing. Just steps to follow, knowing every important aspect of the exercise, and then repeat over and over again to grow. I have an idea for your next video (or even a playlist/series). How about telling us how to strengthen your joints and keep your body from injuries? I saw some videos on other channels, but didn't find a comprehensive list that would sum up to a well organized excercise plan. At the same time, I play 2-3 times a week, giving everything I can on the pitch, and I am sure I could do better during two-day-only recovery periods. The plan could include what to eat, which excercises to do when and how often for specific muscles or joints, and also a variety of other things amateur players don't know they should do between their last and next match. if you consider any aspect of it useful for others as well, I would love to see such a guide :)

Love your channel mate! Everything about the videos is amazing. From editing to breaking down the single steps of the techniques. I honestly don’t know what to focus on first. I’m a hybrid defender, playing cb and fullback. My strengths are duels, headers and coms. What do you think I should focus on besides these types of crosses

This a great video! It helps to have someone really break it down as much as possible. Just wish you had talked a little more specifically about where you are trying to strike the ball exactly, where you want to contact with your foot, and the path of your shooting foot.

This whole channel has helped me improve on the small, yet important details of my game. However, there is one thing I am struggling with and that is pings or long passes. Every time I try to do one it ends up being something like a curler and the power and accuracy is also very inconsistent. If you could make video on the proper technique for this type of pass, it would be very helpful as you explain with great detail and your way of teaching is the only type that has helped me so far.

Again a great video! It's nice to see actual explanations with examples, I think TV broadcasts ought to do that more often instead of rehashing the same things over and over. I've always been more of a "windmill" crosser because the playstyle of my team required so (and because I found it more elegant, not that it matters...) It was more of a "cross from the right side 20-25m out, into the penalty area, right in the run for the attacker" instead of having a really low defense and just trying to hit someone. I don't know for sure but the whipped technique seems more appropriate for a modern-day game. It doesn't seem to require as much accuracy as the windmill, you "just" (not saying that it's easy) have to hit that zone you want someone (anyone) to get a touch on the ball and deflect it towards the goal. Whereas for the windmill, you have to get it enough pace, height and spin to hit THAT spot that your striker will be at in X seconds. Maybe it's a tad more of an "intellectualized" crossing but maybe more situational, while the whipped might be more overall-effective. In any case, very interesting and will try that soon, thanks again!
