This is a beautiful delicate stitch scarf. The colors are brilliant and some of my favorites. On a side note I love that crochet song you made up at the Crochet Guild.

Another clearly filmed and narrated video tutorial of a beautiful and unique scarf! Your pattern from your LoveCrafts shop (link below) is also easy to follow with lots of photos. Thank you, Bonnie! For mine I'm using Nurturing Fibres Eco Bamboo in Sweetpea and Emily from Good Loops bought via your link below. I love that they post colorway coordination suggestions in their yarn descriptions.

I have some Uluru queensland collection yarn and I'm not sure if it would work for this project. It says that it's super fine 1 but I think its thicker than that. The way it's made is just like shawl in a ball but thinner. I really need help with ideas if anyone is familiar with this yarn...???... Thank you for this (and all) of your tutorials! I just recently found this channel. Love it!!!

Hello Bonnie! This is a beautiful scarf. The yarn is beautiful as well. I love your tutorials..they are great for me as I don't fully know how to read patterns...yet. 😊 Thank you for your detailed tutorials..very easy to follow. Oh, also, although I love the yarn, I cannot afford it. I do have some James C. Brett DK #3 Weight yarn...I believe it's called Harmony. Do you think I can make this scarf using that? If so, since it's bigger than your yarn, how many chains would you do using a #3 dk yarn and also, should I still use a 4mm hook? Thank you

Bonnie, I hope this is the place I can post my question for you. If you only half-way follow a pattern, but make up your own stuff, at what point do you call it "your own" pattern? Or do you at all?
@BonnieBayCrochet5 жыл бұрын
Petra Creasy I suppose that is a subjective question. If the pattern is clearly recognizable as someone else’s design with only a yarn change or only changing a stitch count here or there, I would not consider that a unique design. Using a familiar stitch in a unique, new way would be fine. Feel free to email me at bonniebay@me.com to continue the conversation.
