🇨🇺 What do you think of when you hear the name Cuba? Well for me it brought up romantic notions of revolutionaries, rum and steamy tropical nights. But what was life like on the island for the common man living in modern day Cuba? Well myself and Alinchik flew there to find out.
Join us on a small town Cuban adventure that nobody else has shown you...Viva the revolution!

People who speak 3 languages, and especially such different ones like Russian, English, and Spanish are pretty rare though. I'm not discarding her skills, but people who can speak multiple languages are only really ''rare'' in some parts of the world, mainly English speaking, but also Spanish and Portuguese speaking areas where their languages are so valuable there isn't as much of a need to speak other languages. Also from what I know in Asian countries such as China, the two Koreas, and Japan also are mostly single language speaking countries.

Argentinian girl here; we actually, more commonly, use “che” at the start of sentences, not at the end, it is more similar to saying “hey” than “eh”, it’s used to call someone attention, like for example “che, pasáme el mate por favor” which means “hey, pass me the mate please”. Thought I would share some knowledge from my country. Love your channel, I discovered it three days ago and I’ve on a binge. I love that you show the casual, mundane, everyday places that locals frequent, that are part of their everyday life.

Hey folks, I read a lot of the comments and I think they are heart friendly! We all have love in our hearts and we show it sometimes. I think that politics and the media frequently make a mess of things and they could show more love and watch it grow. BTW, I'm American and I live in a camper with my ind wife. We live on very little right now but we are humbled and very blessed. Bad decisions and injuries have set us back but it made us appreciate everything we have and love everyone more. Family and friends are blessings ! God bless you all!

$200 is an average pension in Russia. My own mother-in-law's pension is $240, but due to local prices it is not as bad as it looks. For example my father have pension around $850 and every year he got a trip to Europe (Italy, France, Switzerland, Finland etc.), but not this year of course.

It didnt look like they care much for sauce. I cooked spaghetti for a hundred people. People talked for weeks about how damn good that spaghetti was. I flavored that meat so much and then I flavored the sauce too with some olive oil I cooked with a bunch of spices for a couple hours. Cooked the oil and spices and cooked the meat with spices. Then up tomato sauce, added the meat and added the cooked spiced oil. People who hadn't even tried the spaghetti because they were out of town hear about the meal days later. I got a hell of a reputation for throwing down some great meals. Gave me a new interest in large scale cooking and freezing meals. Much cheaper then individual meals, or resturants and much safer during covid time.
