Nah, you play to win and no one should become comfortable with failure. The whole point of sports is to win, and if you accept loosing then what’s the point of playing.
@CT-yo9ww2 жыл бұрын
@@blakedaugherty7224 there is a difference between not fearing failure and becoming comfortable with failure. You should never be ok with losing but you need to not be held back by a fear of failure.

When I fail I just do it over again knowing I will get it right at some point. I used to be pressured into being perfect but now I embrace the fact that I make mistakes and I’ve gotten better just because of that.💯🏀 Thanks for the video

A great video. I get the idea of moving away from failing by focusing on learning but that makes me not to focus on winning. So now I don't have that competence and hunger for winning.

Heyyy guys great video, I was wondering what angle is ideal for shooting, I always hear 45 degrees but I feel like that’s too flat and I shoot at a 55 degree angle

There are a lot of variables. You should talk to your coach about getting to college basketball

Dang this is a really weird coincidence for me. It seems like all through my day I've been reminded of how I cant be afraid to fail. My only problem with this is 1) I HATE to lose...like I truly hate losing more than anything and when I do lose I get seriously frustrated..sometimes even quetioning whether all my hard work is worth it. And 2) I hate being ridiculed. I hate it when my coach singles me out and tells me that I'm bad at something because I always try my absolute best at everything he assigns me. It's not like I'm mad at him or anything just that I hate it when I do the wrong thing and Im blamed for it. Like when I try to shoot and I miss and my teamates are all complaining that I shot. It makes me think that the best thing I can do for my team is sit on the bench and watch them play. I wanna be the best player on the court all the time every time...and I know that might not be exactly possible but I am really working hard for it. I just get discouraged when fail..or rather when I dont succeed. And I dont know exactly how to fix this. Do I just keep on taking those shots and failing until I succeed? Or do I wait until I feel good enough..and trusted enough to take those shots?

Keep practicing repetition is key 🔑and try to make your work outs harder like in game workouts so when it comes to gameday you’re confident in your shot, And another thing have your teammates able to gain trust in you you have to bring that energy (mamba mentality) and if you’re not hitting your shots don’t be afraid to keep shooting (hence you put in the work) and also if the shot isn’t falling try to effect the game in different ways making winning plays. Like being vocal, playing hard on defense and out working your opponent and encouraging teammates. Remember hard work beats talent! Good luck 👌🏽

Failing will naturally be a part of the process of improving; everyone misses. The idea is not to put so much weight on those "failures" that they completely cloud what you're doing well. I'd look into what you're doing well on the court and try to optimize that; that will eventually move your focus to things that are more in your control (unlike how people respond to your actions).
