Bloodflowers best Album of the Zeros !!!! Nobody beats the Cure best live Band ever !!!

The Cure is the most manic-depressive band ever. Their songs are either dizzyingly happy, or horrendously sad. This song is beautiful.
@bert.hbuysse55696 күн бұрын
Many songs are both at the same time too. which is even more genious. (such as this one for instance, happy or sad?)
@omifishcakes17 жыл бұрын
This is one of the best cure songs! Certainly the best off Bloodflowers, and it's kinda sad and happy at the same time which is beautiful. Always reminds me of someone walking alone at twilight remembering things, or something like that. When we look back at it all as I know we will You and me, wide eyed I wonder...will we really remember How it feels to be this alive? AMAZING!

To me the best song off Bloodflowers is Bloodflowers, by a wide margin.

Bloodflowers is such a good album. I'm alright with it being a little underrated. It just means the people who appreciate it know what we're talking about.

Obviously, when you are with that 'special someone', the rest of the real world doesn't matter for those brief moments in time. Always have to go---- to work, or school, or any other physical separations---even in death. Yet, we remember the times spent with certain people that surpass all others. Those are the things that are priceless and cannot be bought in any store. Long live The Cure!!

This song applies to my life so perfectly. I only get to see the two people I love more than anything in the world once every two weeks, one is from around new york, one from around washington dc, while I'm around philadelphia.... This song is perfect for the train rides home at the end of my visits. Drives me to tears.

the problem with bloodflowers is the the recording itself. maybe the way its layered in the studio. the words and music are obviously great. i say this because as with many cure songs the studio recordings dont have the feeling as when they perform the songs live. they sound so much better live for sure. WMSwings is much better live also. these songs are timeless and escapist. would anyone agree with my assessment? please offer comments.

@dijool Dude, if you mean the machine playing the drum breaks, that's on purpose. Otherwise I don't know what you mean... Btw Cure use drum machines since their early albums - Check Porno for example. He's far from the world's best drummer, but Cure are not such a drum-demanding band anyway. Sorry for being sarcastic, I just hate Wish-Cure fans if you know what i mean lol

@dijool Dude form your comment, I believe you know nothing about music. Seriously. Drum machine for helping the drummer??? Are you OK, I mean really? Oh and this last thing is probably a matter of taste but you say you are a huge fan of The Cure and you, as far as I understood, don't admire much Bloodflowers? In my opinion their best, deepest and most genuine album... Btw I hate Friday I'm In Love if you know what I mean, you dear Huge Cure Fan.
@richardfitt10 жыл бұрын
I remember when a group of Cure fans gathered to listen the new Cure album... Bloodflowers, the first album with the new drummer Jason Cooper. And when I heard that the first thing that opened the album was a drum machine running in the background, then I knew that something was wrong. Then Jason began playing the same pattern that the drum machine was playing was a BIG disappointment. And it's almost the same for all of the other songs... Jason brought the backing tapes to the band, and that is a big no no for a band like The Cure. We all know by now that Push is totally ruined by Jason... the same goes for Play for Today, From the edge of the deep green sea (it's a joke to hear and watch him playing it), Why can't I be you (he can't play the drum intro as it should be), pictures of you with the background sounds and he added dumb drumfills, the same for almost all of the classic Cure songs. Jason is ruining great songs. That's why The Cure is not as big and successful as before.

I wouldn't dismiss him completely as he's obviously a great Cure fan himself, don't forget he's a generation younger than Robert & Co.! It must be a great challenge to become a member of your favourite band. I would do no better i guess. But definitely, Jason's drumming is the weakest of all we've ever heard. Best Cure drummer? Andy Anderson! Boris very good also. Even Lol Tolhursts fantastic in some pieces, namely The Hanging Garden and The Holy Hour!!!
