There are a lot of speculation on why they left, but the biggest one (which i think its bogus) is that his brother died and he lost his motivation to create content, but i think its because they just moved on, they got jobs/opportunities and wasn't feasible to continuing the channel, since it requires effort to do the camera work in-game, install/reinstall mods every review, and back in the days we did had wabbajack iirc but not as robust as today, also Skyrim was losing relevance at the time they stopped creating content, so maybe it was a factor too.

I think the golden age(s) for Skyrim is just about done for the moment. To be honest, the resurgence of skyrim modding is the only good thing to come out of COVID years. Pre-Covid the modding scene had really slowed down a lot. I was using the same flora, grass, forest, character creation mods for years. Then covid happened and we started getting grass mods every month, we got brand new forest mods, compeley new character body replacements not built on UUNP or CBBE, physics mods, and even transversal mods. The only thing we didn't get was a complete DX12 conversion. I mean I don't we'll see another resurgence like those 2020 to 2022 for a long time. So enjoy it while you can.

Just my 2 cents but I think Skyblivion, Skywind, and the Beyond Skyrim projects need a little more explanation. Skyblivion and Skywind are remakes of The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion and The Elder Scrolls III Morrowind respectively with their stories taking place in 3rd Era 433 and 3rd Era 427 respectively. In these mods, we will be playing as the heroes of those particular games. Beyond Skyrim however, will feature the same lands from these games (and many more provinces) but will feature all-new stories and quests set in the 'modern-day' of 4th Era 201 where the last Dragonborn ventures beyond Skyrim to experience stories and quests in the other provinces of Tamriel.

Heya! I really liked the video but have to say you mixed up Nolvus and Nukt there a bit in the beginning - NUKT is working on his own list which was originally based on Nolvus but is now standalone. Also the NUKT gameplay shown is from the newer videos which are based on his list already so they dont represent Nolvus gameplay anymore. Apart from that, keep it up x)

u can kind of play some of skyblivion now some of beyond skyrim bruma shares assets with the skyblivion project. afaik bruma itself, aylied dungeon tilesets and im not 100% sure but i think the heightmap is the same but scaled differently (beyond skyrim is slightly smaller scale if i remember correctly)

Yea Lunar guard armor is for the gameplay, the screenshot is of nolvus from vektor, which is using Vridian armor for the top paulders and gauntlets, triss armor Retexture for the body and boots and then twilight princess armor for the skirt. This is per vektor tho, not my gameplay.

I haven’t played Skyrim for more than 2 years and during all this time I still haven’t uninstalled LE, and so many LEGENDARY mods have been released for CE that I feel bad. I need to download so many mods, update a lot and catch up on lost time in order to be in trend! Apotheosis looks like a complete reimagining of Vigilant. It's very similar in theme in concept of a heavily dark souls inspired levels surrounding various daedric princes. I would personally like to highlight Odyssey of the dragonborn, a sequel to Legacy of the dragonborn. LoTD is by far one of my favorite mods ever, to no surprise as i love hoarding any collectibles and 100%ing games. I'm super excited for the follow up and you bet i'll be dumping over a thousand hours into it.

Man it’s been years since I’ve touched Skyrim and it’s crazy to see what people are doing with it now. I wouldn’t even know where to start in 2024. That could be a great video actually. Do I still need to downgrade SSE to a certain patch or has skse/etc caught up? AE yes or no? are we still using MO2 or has something better come along? Vortex? Anything new happened with merging mods or such? Are we still using TesEdit or is there a new tool? Is it still a good idea to merge mods for higher esp cap? I’d love a video or guide that isn’t for truly new people (who are arguably a minority at this point 😂, who hasn’t played or modded a BethSoft game at this point?) but people who got off the train a few years ago, know about all the ground level stuff but don’t know where the cutting edge is any more (arguably many of us).

There's quite a few, the intro was jedi survivor MCO, a bunch of For Honor ones (by smooth), the Warhammer is Jormungandr moveset (this one specifically is on his patreon), greatsword is warden moveset, and sword is centurion moveset And then twin blades moveset for the twin blades swords

Let's all take the current mod community with a grain of salt. It's too divided to a point where a lot of authors have either taken their mods down, outright refuse to update and even sometimes greedily doesn't let anyone patch their work, or at worst cases, just remove their mods and post them in some shady site. Another thing is that modding skyrim will make your experience a living nightmare: You need to have a very good rig, have lots of knowledge on how modding works, do constant trial and errors on each mod install since not everything fits together, most of the mods have numerous amount of bugs (referring to certain authors refusal to update their mods), each skyrim update breaks your mods and on top of that if worst comes to pass, your game will break beyond repair, which you will need to start all over again from scratch. Now to the controversial part: Bethesda has found a way to bypass the skyrim steam manifest ID, forcing to update the game (just so they could force you their mediocre creation club contend down your throat), hence breaking your mods and rendering your game unplayable. Downgrading skyrim will take you to absurd amounts of trickery just to get it to the right version and even so you can never guarantee if it will save your current broken modded game, i tried myself to no avail. Somehow Bethesda has made sure that their creation club mods have updates too, so if you ever bought any, you won't be able to downgrade those too since they're mandatory for the game to function. All in all no KZbinr will tell you this. Believe what not others say, but what you choose to believe and if you want proof, then download over 700 mods and experience this dumpster fire for yourself, give yourself a challenge and all. As for the positive side of this situation, there's only new, far better quality mods coming out in general, each year they get more creative and that will never stop, but that is the only good thing over the mess behind the curtains. The big projects that are being worked on will take a lot of time to finally be released, so don't expect them to be out anytime soon, they surely look great and give lots of hope for Skyrim, especially the Skywind (which is the most hyped mod of all). Anyway, i needed to let you all know what goes on, so you all can make up your choice whether it is worth your time and nerves to make your Skyrim to look like in these KZbin videos.

I see what you're saying, kinda, but you're making it sound like the community is so divided that a large amount of mods are unavailable because there on some shady site, that's not true at all. Nearly every single mod is still on nexus, yes ik there's been some mods moved over, but I only get my stuff from nexus. Second, you only need an insane gaming rig if you want to meta modlists, it's completely possible to make a solid mod set up on a mid level rig(I've done it). The updates, yes they suck but I don't think it updates because "bethesda bypasses it," it's cuz the game auto updates when you boot it up from steam directly, and (in my experience) sometimes that happens when you boot up skse and steam isn't already open, basically I'm saying it is avoidable. As for the modding knowhow, yes you need some knowledge but you don't NEED to know everything, just the basics for you to get a mod list up and running. I personally don't know nearly as some people, and my game runs just fine.

You can only keep doing things for so long. Things change, as do the things people do to sustain their life. Skyrim is 12 years old, most of the people who had Skyrim day one have families or kids to raise. Ain’t no keeping up with dozens of hours of video editing while kid(s) are tearing up your house. Life has a way of making you prioritize things, and immediate needs are above everything. I miss those guys, but they’ve moved on, as will most of us. We’re not kids and teenagers anymore…

he's famous for spreading misinformation and having a cult-like community. i would stay away from the channel if you care about having a working modlist. his editing is pretty good though hence why he was pretty big few years back.
