Awesome video, definitely some things to think about! I think it would be pretty interesting if they worked multiplayer into a future release, and I know that even if the next Zelda game ends up being a step down, I'll probably still buy it lol

Good thoughts to ponder, nicely presented. I can see Nintendo releasing a 2D Zelda next, like Mario got Wonder instead of an Odyssey 2. For the next 3D Zelda, it sounds like they'll change the aesthetic again and being Nintendo they'll come up with some key mechanic like the Fusing was new for TotK. Maybe they'll lean on story again next, have something like 3 story arcs coming into one, or multiplayer, or multi-character single-player. Who knows. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Ooo I love the idea of a multi character story in a Zelda game. I also miss 2D Zelda so I hope you’re right!
