I still have no idea why they haven't taken the RNG out of this path. At least in PvE. Italy can easily bully Yugoslavia and Spain into giving them ahistorical territory even on Historical AI, but ahistorical Hungary has a diceroll _seeded at the start of the game_ on whether they they get to play or not. It's a stupid inconvenience that may have one day had a purpose but not anymore. Like Canada and India's old shortcomings that they finally patched out.

It's definitely not seeded, I savescum this all the time. It's still stupid, of course, it takes a minor (Hungary) and turns it into a major at like 3 random rolls, or leaves it a minor. No player involvement at all. Terrible design from a game-play perspective.

To anyone who still doesnt have this piece of shit achievement: Make a build you're content with, get to the point where you full annex Czechoslovakia ASAP, then quit the game. Now go into your Hoi4 saves and duplicate the save file and store it somewhere safe. Now you can restart from the point where you annex the Czechs consistently.

ISP, I followed your advice to bring France in as the Mediator for the Treaty of Transylvania, and the Romanians declined the treaty. This, just like you suggested, caused France and the allies to declare war on Romania. The English swept in with a naval invasion, I got everything outside of Bessarbia, and Bucovina. The two Soviet Provinces were divided into a released independent Romania in Bucovina for the Germans to have as their puppet, meanwhile the French and British split northern and southern Bessarabia. I wanted to thank you for this hilarious chaos.

3:24 Checked this out, and fun fact: there is more things that could change the chance, being them: World tension(20, 40 and the last one 60), czechia having a non-aggression pact with hungary, Is *not* in a faction, germany is doing either Sudenten or End of czechoslovakia focus, or they have more than 65 opinion of hungary. there are 2 other options: Close association(they become your puppet), or just plain refusing Both have one same modifier, being if hungary is an ai then they *WON'T* do these options, meanwhile that Refusing option is increased if they are in a faction so now i'm gonna get the best possible outcome of this, lets say, somehow the world tension is higher than 60, czechia have a non-aggression pact with hungary, they aren't in a faction, cze has more than 65 opinion of hun and ofc germany is doing one of the 2 focus, so that means the chance of they accepting would be... Uh around like 97%, this if there is a player playing hungary, so if even after that they still decline to you, then dang bro you are REALLY unlucky!

One of the easiest ways to get out of the war with Germany is to switch to Fascism and enter the Axis. Hungary's tree is unique in that way. You can form AH through the monarchy focus tree and hire Fascist, Communist and Democratic advisors still.

Paradox has to put something, and I don’t think the game was designed to show multiple flags for one country. (A decision available to the player to ‘choose’ a national flag in this case would be cool, though.)
