I have heard that there are feral people who live in the woods in various locations along the Appalachian trail. It sounds like most of these disappearances are the result of foul play. But the guy on the bus is a real puzzle. I'd like to hear more about that. Good job, Megan!

I've trailed that route through the moutains, along Route 9 starting in Bennington all the way to Brattleboro, many times, mostly late at night. Stopping on the side of the road to take a nap part way through, not a single thing ever happened, I've always viewed that Route one of the safest routes, except of course when the weather makes the winding mountainess route a little slick with unpredictable drivers. It is incredibly peaceful there with a million stars gracing the sky.❤

This is a good eerie story. Listening about Freda, you would almost think there would be nothing but bones after 7 months. The guy on the bus is a strange happening.

Hey guys how you all doin'? I missed a lot of your videos because they don't show on my KZbin recommendations any more for some reason! Brilliant video and very well presented! I'm not surprised things happen at Glastonbury Mountain - it's the name: the original Glastonbury, here in England, in the county of Somerset, has been the center of all sorts of mysteries since ancient times. Druids did ceremonies there in antiquity, and the area is charged with strange energies. Names are very powerful. I think the identical name has a lot to do with it... Glastonbury in Somerset/UK has always been a hotspot for UFO and Sasquatch sightings, timeslips, ghosts and all sorts of things.

people don't vanish into thin air, the guy on the bus obviously left the bus with out his belongings, he was sleeping so was probably partially asleep when he got off the bus with out anyone noticing, like when you first wake up in the morning your not fully coherent that's what happened with this guy he got off walked away without his stuff, it's definitely not a case where he was on the bus then just vanished lol that's just stupid

Sat May 24 1975 I graduated from prep school and stayed the night in the Waloomsac Inn in Bennington with my mom and stepfather. I had no reason to be spooked. After dark I heard a baby, not a cat, crying across the street at the cemetery next to the old white church. The Inn itself was definitely haunted. I'm not trying to spook anyone.

I don't think it's a SK but not bc of the difference in victims. This would kinda have to be a crime of opportunity. If he's waiting in the woods for a victim, he has to take whatever comes along.

My guess is Animal predation...or possible serial killer...not Wendigo..Dogman..Bigfoot etc...the only oddity here is the guy on the Bus...if what the driver said is accurate and true?...then we have a true mystery.

Good morning to you, this is a real odd collection of disappearances, especially Mr Tedford missing from the bus. Could there have been a serial killer active I wonder? But the missing are all so different. I've heard about the strange rock that can 'swallow' you if you stand on it. The Appalachians have so many odd legends. Have a wonderful day, best regards.

There is a lot in our world that we dont understand yet. Or even know about for that matter. Thanks for the story. It definitely makes you think. What could be out there? 🤔

A well told series of short stories, personally, i think that a serial killer is at the root of the disappearances, someone with a sound knowledge of the area and of the trails, but without evidence and the timeline (past time) i guess no one will ever know. I look forard to more .. 🇬🇧

You say it can't be a serial killer because victims are men and women, both young and old. But one commonality appears to be the colour red. As for the guy disappearing from the bus, the likely explanation is did exit the bus at the previous stop, maybe to use the bathroom, the driver didn't notice and left without him. He probably then attempted to make his own way, possibly became lost, or hitchhiked and picked up by the person.

This has puzzled me since I first heard of it! I know where we live in WNC in the mtn counties there are feral people! I know someone whose family members were paid in the 1920's-1940's to eradicate these feral people! Thank you for doing this story! Patricia Gambino Harrington

we call it "Halloween on a submarine" We love it when we get the strong winds off the lake thats "eerie" 🤣🙂🙃😉Shes 80 years old and she'll moan and groan and creak and crackle. 😮😯💀☠Our control room ( the brain of the sub) is lit up all the time in red . Its called "rigged for red" so that when we surface--90% at nite--it makes our sailors eyes adjust to the darkness. And that red light makes it also lite up in purple and blue. We love to call it our "Halloween room" 👹👺👻🥶😯😳

The first disappearance could be that he left for Canada. The rest sound like a serial killer. That trait might be hereditary.....so the same area? Could be one family with skeletons.
