I've been owned by many cats who saw snow for the first time, and it is indeed funny. The land is covered in white snow, not aware of this, my cat wants to go outside. I open the door, and my cat sees all the white, looks intensely at it, then looks up at me, then intensely back at the blanket of white. Their expressions are always, "Wtf is this"? Then they hesitantly move one paw forward into the snow, and immediately withdraw it, shake the moisture off of the paw, and look back at me with the, "Wtf is this"? expression. Then they walk on out into it, still shaking front AND back paws for a while.

I remember my favorite kitty of all time Oliver when it snowed and he got to see and experience it for the first time he held onto me and looked at it with the complete wonder of a small child❤ He has been gone now since 2013 I still miss him greatly😢😢😢😢

My cat sparkle was an indoor girl but she loved watching snow, rain even lightning!. My husband laughed when he caught us watching a snow storm in the wee hours. Miss the little weirdo so much.
