"His Punishment is being him" so true......I love this
@minitstop9 жыл бұрын
Absolutely right about their punishment as being themselves. Everyone has a hard life. Sometimes those bullies just need a little love. I find that more often than not, sending them goodwill instead of fighting them can totally change their tone and they often apologize. It doesn't always work, of course. Lovin' the videos, Andy! Super amazing to see this channel explode!

Andy, you are part German so you may know. We have a saying that goes (roughly translated) : "the wiser head gives in". Your sensei was right. No need to give them buggas recognition by acknowledging them or trying to start a fight. At the end of the day it usually pans itself out the right way anyways. Look at the bright side. If you have haters or people trolling you, you must be doing something right. Otherwise their envy wouldn't be there in the first place. Keep it up braddah, the ones who appreciate will always be there in bigger numbers.

Mahalo, Andy. I go through this fairly frequently with russian aggressor apologist/troll/whiners spreading maskirovka, arrogance and divisiveness; people say not to feed the trolls, I say run the bill up. "I hope that helps clarify for you, I'm here to help" "all the best regards to you 🙏" "I'll understand if you don't respond " "Kopek for your soul?" "Do you believe the subterfuge that you are spreading?" "this is your contribution to humanity?" Have proven to be very helpful for me. I love your sensei's response. what ever inconvenience I have dealing with them, I know that their life is the same potchke without me. Aloha

UH should assign your show as required material for all Hawaiian Heritage courses. Congratulations on the news article, Andy. The renaissance of Hawaiian culture has been running for about thirty years, but it is only now that Pidgin is being addressed as an authentic dialect. When I was small, the kids with the deep Pidgin were looked down upon. So today, it is gratifying to see that there is now pride and ownership in the dialect, just like those regions of New Orleans, New England, and Georgia. I want to sincerely thank you, mahalo nui loa, for helping in the Hawaiian Heritage Movement. You make a difference!

@AndyBumataiShow8 жыл бұрын
+Annie Burns Annie, It's not worth the effort. After the AP piece came out someone commented that Pacific Islanders have sub normal IQs so celebrating Pidgin is like celebrating stupidity. It was something like that.. So, instead of engaging the hater on the ridiculous statement I pointed out that those hiding behind anonymous accounts are non-people with zero credibility and no say. There, I saved you a bunch of time. : )

Hey brah, when I travel on mission trips the local people of the country will attempt to speak to me in their version of broken English. I thank them because I can't speak their native language, but I understand their broken English. They apologize; I tell them that they don't need to apologize. I'm a Portagee transplant from California that played football at U.H. and coached at Palama Settlement, 1969 and 1975 with John Sharp. Aloha
