You guys must be off the property of the big mine that was shut down in 1942. You haven't shown any of that property? There were old bunk hoses still there in 2000 and also the mine where two guys were single jacking and sampling for the German company that owned the site. You alos have not shown where the water tank went over the hill. That was near the gate on the road. My partner Mark and I prospected all over that area. We took some good samples from the volcanic vent mine to the southwest of the meadow and cabin.

They keep running into problems with OBVIOUS solutions they don’t even consider… Two examples: 1) tunnel blocked with ice Just MELT it out. Block off entrance. Start a bunch of of contained fires in metal barrels to raise temp. Wait (refuel fires as necessary). Problem solved. You’re welcome. 2) Bad air in tunnel Several times while exploring in various tunnels they encounter bad air and give up exploring further when all they have to do is bring some air with them (e.g. oxygen tanks, regulators, etc). Instead they just give up and act like there is nothing they can do - like it’s an insurmountable obstacle. It’s not.

They are longer on the Fox Business tv channel. They shouldn’t be handling trees their age but they do. They use ropes & that to help them but their not strong like they use to & using their minds more to protect themselves. I still feel their over doing it & Rick doesn’t know when to quit because he has had his knees replaced twice & has a metal rod in his back. The guys on Gold Rush get it done & not drag on like this show. I want them to hurry & find Oly’s gold already but it’s more dangerous digging through a mountain & takes more preparation. I don’t thing the guys on Gold Rush knows how to mine through a mountain or even went to collage to become a mining engineer. They sure know how to dig one up in a hurry to get the Gold making the Dale’s look pathetic. They don’t have the funds for heavy machinery & to blow up the mountain. If they did they might have to put the mountain back after getting the gold. Those guys in Alaska have to go back & put all the dirt back. I doubt the Dale’s will have to fill the mines back up with dirt once their done. I hate the repeat of Oly’s story & how this show is being dragged out being all over the place not being in order. I would even hate hearing about their history but I don’t because Dad was Rick’s roommate in collage of the mines. Dad has even hung out with the Bros & been in one of those mines. If Dad didn’t have a connection I wouldn’t have known about this show until Rick told us when we went to see him last Summer & they had a break from filming. I’m sure someone has a metal detector & probably doing it old school for the show but that is good question.

@@dani6293 Your always welcome! 🙂 That’s awsome about your Daddy & my Granddad worked in a mine. Hope you get to watch the full episodes instead of these clips. A lot of people don’t realize these are just clips & I’m glad to be here to inform others. It’s neat what their doing & I’ve never seen a show like this where their mining inside of a mountain. It makes it more neat for me that I know Rick personally & only meet him twice in my life. I seen his water wheel there at his home & I made a comment about it. He just beemed & showed us his gold. He has gold fever & enjoying working with his Brothers. There was 6 Brothers & Kitt says he’s number 6. What the show doesn’t say is the 5th one Kipp crawled behind the stove when he was a baby & got electrocuted. Dad remembered hearing about that & lived in the next town over. Rick is a couple of days older then Dad. They say Grandma was going in to give birth to twins when Rick was coming out of the same hospital with his Mom. Even ran into Paul working on his truck at the mouth of the canyon last summer & found out he works with my Mom’s cousin. I wish now Dad would of drove us up to the mines & he has been in one of them. They had a break from filming & haven’t found Oly’s gold yet. I hope they do & glad to see some of their boys helping them out, Rick only had girls. Glad your enjoy it. 🤗
