Ah yes, I have the same, but when using the regular controller. This Deluxe controller minimize slippery even when you played on carpet.

I took out the electronics and made a whole entire MDF and wooden, metal, rubber and polycarbonate contraption that weighed 50 tonnes... used door seals as the "springs"... it kinda worked meh. Never really completed it and just gave it away

Dance pads came in all sorts of designs. I was "insert age here" when I found out that the original Konami dance pads didn't include the triangle and square buttons. There were even some that had the True Kiss Destination arrow styles, not sure if those are legit too.
