I met her while she was filming The Holiday Show in Scotland in early 90s, she was very down to earth and friendly. After I closed the bar in the hotel I worked in, we had a few drinks together and I asked her "where are you going next?", she said "you'll be jealous", I said "on you go", she said "Rio". So sad.

The cover up is by the force investigating the case, same police who had Daniel Morgan killed, Daniel Morgan was killed because he knew how corrupt the police and freemasons were. There was a inquiry by the home office that showed known police and high up masons touted for his murder, that's where the Jill dando murder comes into it because she was investigating the police and the Masons about the Daniel Morgan case it's all in black and white even the home office report

@@uncontrollable343 well. They've released footage / CCTV footage of a man at Putney station that they've had quietly under scrutiny called man X or N6814 , he must've been someone of importance, thus the itemized number in the enquiry. However Hamish Campbell has always denied from 18th of may 2000 that they had no significant CCTV footage anywhere including the Putney bridge station footage. He was clearly lying, as the footage was acquired two weeks after her murder. So subsequently, here's one cover-up. My money's on it being an intelligence hit - Police failures again tunnel vision, leads not followed up - Inconsistent witness statements from individuals in the street/area meaning distraction/distortion techniques - Only a few select people would have known about where she was staying since she didn't always stay in London - Probably being observed/watched even phones/computers tapped up - Execution style hit - Weapon/bullet used once probably used to send individuals on a wild chase once followed up - 2/3 Individuals presented crime watch why would she be the one shot? So that theory of a criminal gang doesn't stack up - A Serbian hit man because of the war? No chance they wouldn't have had the skills/expertise to carry out something like that - The media's lack of clarity to look at the possibility of it being an intelligence hit - She always wanted to be an investigative journo so maybe she found out about Savile/JE/GM/PA or other and they thought they could keep it quiet from coming out but due to Social media it has originally come out now.

The target may not have been deliberate. It just happened to be Jill Dando. That person was most likely Barry George. That's the other theory. The problem with the 'intelligence hit' theory is that the logistics of carrying out the planned attack needed to be so well executed to enable a car to draw up just at the time she had and to virtually simultaneously exit their car whilst she exited hers to catch up with her before she went indoors. Why would anyone go to so much bother to find out her movements that day (and where would they get that information) target someone on foot and in a vehicle who had not done anyone are real direct harm? That is the execution of a revenge attack if done by Serbia links or crimewatch links. If so, why hadn't other presenters been targeted and killed too? Why her?

What kind of theory is it that a "loner" was responsible for the killing? Is there extensive research that proves that loners are murderers as often as not? Is being a "loner" an all purpose motive for murder? In a world where large numbers of the population can't list one adult friend, and large numbers are no longer considering, or considered for marriage, how much does identifying a crime as likely committed by a loner shed a light on matters. And on and on. One advantage singling out loaners does have is that they would seem to be less able to defend themselves. They probably can't present an alibi. The whole primer residue is an odd one. They as much as gave him the defense, they kept hammering on about his owning a starting pistol. That was legally owned. They did not reveal in their questioning where the primer was from a starting pistol round (rim fire), or from a cartridge with a central primer pocket. Primer residue is not a universal compound, they should be able to do better than to say there was such residue, it could have easily proven not to be from the cartridge case they had recovered.

Look at the montage of Crimewatch murders from 1991. In two unsolved cases where a professional hit was suspected, the killer in one wore very loud shoes that attracted attention as he ran away, and in the other the killers cruised the area in an incredibly distinctive white American car. Just because the killers were "professional" it doesn't mean they were perfect.

The likelihood of it being Barry George with his extremely basic intellect he has to actually carry out such a sophisticated murder AND get away with it is not impossible but you really are STRETCHING things to suggest it was him when you take all of that into account plus the amount of luck that would of had to of gone in his favour on the day again is not beyond the realms of possiblity but would be extraordinarily unrealistic to say the least. Without trying to sound harsh/mean/disrespectful towards the man the Dr's and psychiatrist who analysed and assessed his mental capacity agreed that he was a VERY simple minded person and so he didn't possess the mental capability to think the killing through and then pull it off to the point where he could of physically done so in broad day and then cover his tracks so as to not get caught. At the end of the day Scotland Yard were under IMMENSE pressure to have someone charged for the murder of Jill Dando and the fact that Barry George just so happened to be in the immediate area not long after she was killed and also had an obsession with her plus the "Single particle of firearm discharge residue" unfortunately tied everything up for the Police so in many ways looking at it through their eyes it kind of HAD to be him. But in the end the killing was what 24 years ago now going off the time I'm writing this so at this point I can't ever see the day when this case will be solved unfortunately. I don't have a background in anything to do with profiling or catching criminals but I personally think that it was a professional hitman based purely on the fact that whoever DID end Jill Dando's life was in and out of there like a flash and didn't leave any evidence/clues behind to directly link them to the event. **One ALSO has to take into account that in 1999 CCTV cameras were not as widely used and spread out as they are today across not just London but the WHOLE of the United Kingdom so this sadly plays a MASSIVE part in the fact that no one was actually caught on camera gunning Jill down.

Only one molecule of gunshot residue was found in a coat pocket of Barry George which is astounding in that the gun that killed Jill Dando was used at close range. George's apartment was strewn with garbage and hoarded belongings. It was filthy and yet they found nothing other than one molecule linking him to the crime scene and an expert stated that that molecule could have come from anywhere. If George altered a pistol and hand-crimped a cartridge where is the evidence of tools used to do these procedures. There was none. As someone with knowledge of cartridge reloading, using an altered pistol and handmade cartridge, the weapon is more likely to explode in the user's hand.

He's another one with a weak alibi. But the weirdest, is Simon Basil. Take a look at the new Putney bridge station CCTV footage. It's not Milo ulemek. He looks more like Basil to me. I don't know of any cartridge that is crimped over the bullet. There are blank and small caliber pistol shot shell cartridges that have a folded crimp, and that is because there is no bullet so the fold crimp terminates the casing and is sloped like a bullet for ease of insertion. Most cartridges are crimped into a canellure in the bullet itself, but they are not folded as shown in the program. The normal crimp is a subtle detail that many people may not realize has been formed. There is no reason to fold crimp, it would be unreliable, and cost more. The police seemed to be suggesting a starting pistol cartridge was used to push a projectile ahead of itself. This would seem to identify a person who had difficulty accessing decent firearms. They also referred to 9mm short/380 ACP, which is a standard weapon and loading.
@georgerobartes2008
@georgerobartes2008 10 ай бұрын
I missed this release so I'm a bit late . You're right . Pistol rounds are head spaced on the case mouth , revolver rounds roll crimped . I understand that forensics say the round a 380 ACP ( 9mm Short , Kurz , Corto) was manufactured by Remmington . The details of the so called " crimps " are a bit scant being referred to as everything from indentations made by a pin to parallel grooves . If parallel grooves , this could indicate a 380 acp round being used in a pistol chambered for 9x18 PM ( Makarov ) as the rounds do chamber but due to the larger bore/land dimensions of the 9x18 PM the case mouth would jam into the bore . It would fire but may not cycle properly leaving only one chance . Both rounds are subsonic and easily muffled . This would rule out a hit by Serbs as the Makarov pistol itself and the general spec for 9x18 PM has 4 grooves , the mouth of the spent case having 6 grooves which is typical for Chinese manufactured 9x18 PM barrels . If a Serb was to risk smuggling in a Serbian made pistol he would also risk the correct ammo too . A hit man would want reliable equipment in any case. If the bullet, case and primer were of Remmington manufacture then one has to assume this is factory and would not require any additional crimps . I have seen no confirmation that all components were produced by Remmington , who not only sell assembled ammunition but also the component parts individually. Pistols have been flooding into the UK along with migrants since the Balkan Crisis from Eastern Europe and Turkey and were known to be common in the London suburbs and available at the local Turkish supermarkets and other sources depending on who you talk to , ( with an estimated 1Mn in circulation today ) , but 9x18 PM was not readily available but 380 acp was, also its similarities to 9mm PAK used in blank firing guns cannot be denied . It appears Mr George owned " firearms " as well as a blankfirer but no details of the firearms given , the police going down the blank firer rabbit hole which would generally require either a replacement barrel or the hardened steel plug EDM burned out . Neither an easy task , but workshops that converted blank guns were also known to exist . Seems like insufficient accurate information on the only firm and reliable pieces of evidence, the cartridge case and bullet , is not readily available yet to even begin to start piecing this one together .

It could also have been done as a signature killing too. Like an artist signing his work. Detective paul settle claims the gun was a converted blank firing gun with zero barrel integrity. Meaning the gun would only fire once with the risk of literally blowing-up into the face of the shooter. He claims it's tangible evidence, I disagree,because they don't obtain the weapon itself. Even rifling evidence is absent. The perforation indentation marks could be a filtering of gunpowder whilst additional cordite supplemental repletion ( reducing gunpowder odour) the folding crimp could be the killers signed piece.
@HooDie-Trench-GoTh2022
@HooDie-Trench-GoTh2022 6 ай бұрын
The cannelure just secures the bullet casting , insuring less moving backwards or forwards. Holding it securely. This would then need further crimping, or meplat trimming on end of bullet. But the killer didn't need to to any of these things. Which reinforces to me it was done to throw investigating team of his scent or a signature of his work. Making it look less sophisticated than it really was.

A bullet through the head is to absolutely make death final as opposed to a shot to the stomach etc with a high chance of recovery.Theres also no emotion tied to an execution . This seems like it was to make sure the purpose is silenced and final. So to silence someone what must that reason be for ? Because if she knew something she must of told someone, wrote it down or collected information on it . Someone was privy to her being at her house that morning at that particular time. Did she plan and make it clear to others to go visit home or was it a case of ' well I'm up this way so I might as well pop in and check over the house " last minute kind of thought. Because what are the chances of this scenario playing out if there wasn't any prior intelligence. You could understand it if this was her normal weekly or daily routine but this was once in a blue moon visit. Was there a meeting at her house that was arranged by herself and innocently she thought that maybe she knew this person and their visit had been pre arranged for whatever reason. Lots of questions here but I'm guessing that somewhere in a document there is a name of the shooter which will never see the light of day. This case reminds me of the Alistair Wilson case. I believe she knew something, what that is who knows. But a belief is not a fact and I'm sure I'll change my mind the more I read about this case.

@@Embracing01 The timing is sure right for that as well, no disagreement from here....Did you hear about the dossier that Jill had ahem...."supposedly" sent to the BBC before her death which was sent to the police in 2014 about the high-level pedophile ring which named quite a few people in Parliament, MI5, the BBC and others (the police made it public right after the tip was sent to them--15 years after Jill becoming slain in a matter that could only be ticketed as a gangland hit--you don't kill someone in broad daylight on a busy street and leave no DNA anywhere) and 15 years post the slaying amazingly the dossier couldn't be found. There are about as many unanswered questions in her slaying as there were when JFK was gunned down. This whole thing will never be answered, whoever did this got away with it and no one will ever know. Thanks for the wonderful reply, it is nice to put an idea out and not be flamed. Take care!!

I think he said her scream was that of a surprise, exhilarating. One of something he thought was like that of somebody she knew surprising her, so it's ambiguous at best. The way he was dressed, made Richard Hughes her neighbour,presumably think it was someone of Jill's circle of friends.

Just because a murder victim is famous that in no way means that the murderer even knew who the victim was. The most parsimonious explanation of this case is that Jill's murder was quite random, that it was a true Stranger Crime, that it was a Thrill Kill, or what some have called Recreational Homicide. This was no "professional hit" nor did it require ANY Planning. SOMEONE was going to be randomly murdered that morning, and by a roll of the dice, it turned out to be Jill. She rarely came by that house anymore, so if you were planning to kill her then the house would've been a poor and an unnecessary choice. It is difficult to believe that a justly famous and very attractive woman like Jill died for NOTHING. However, here in America, random murders by stangers is literally a daily occurence. This is why 33% (1/3) of all American homicides since 1965 still remain unsolved today. Murders where there is no social link between the murderer and his victim are almost impossible to solve if the murderer was smart enough or lucky enough not to leave behind any forensic evidence. The modern city is a cathedral that symbolizes the apex of Man's scientific and technological achievement, the very best that the Human Race can do. However, the irony is how much the modern city is a retreat to the jungle, an Asphalt Jungle, where there are Predators lurking who are much more vicious and cunning than any Predator in any real jungle. Yet they somehow would have us believe that it is all necessary for the sake of PROGRESS, whatever that is.

Jill Dando was murdered by Serb paramilitary hitman Milorad Ulemek. The murder was ordered by Željko Ražnatović (“Arkan”), leader of the paramilitary Serb Volunteer Guard (a/k/a “Arkan’s Tigers”). Dando was murdered because she hosted a fundraiser for Kosovan refugees and in reprisal for the NATO bombings of Arkan’s military HQ.

@@rhiburgess5616They were in love,I doubt her fiance had her murdered,,..If he no longer wanted to marry jill,,he could just say so..not hire a hit man.Also people go on about how jill hardly went home, so it had to be someone who knew her schedule to tell the hit man..but all the hit man had to do was follow her after work..He was probably following her for several days to gain this knowledge, as that is not much work ,especially if he was going to kill her..I do wonder though if her fiance had a jealous x, who wanted him back and who was raged by jealousy.

Barry George did it. Anyone who says hitman. Nonsense. They have a book or documentary to sell. What hitman doesn't have a getaway car. He was stalking her. He regularly stalked women. He lived at that time only 10min walk from where she lived. 3 years before he was arrested in the grounds of Kensington Palace. In his bag the police found a knife, a balaclava facemask, abseiling equipment and what he said was a poem he had written. 2 weeks before she was killed. There was numerous accounts of people seeing a man in a suit waiting around the streets near to her home. I believe he was waiting for her. With the gun on him.
