It's simple bro, what makes you progressive isn't religion (organised religions to be more precise), it's secularism that makes you progressive. I'll give you an example for you to understand it conceptually, In an open or progressive society people are free to choose whatever they want to believe or worship or even to not believe in any god, But on the contrary if you live in a religious society of organised religions/monotheistic society worshipping any god other than the monotheistic god is considered as a sin, it's called heresy or shirk, and not believing in any god in such society is also considered a sin, So a monotheistic society doesn't give you the freedom of religion or to not believe in any god, therefore secularism is needed in monotheistic societies to give its people the right to believe in any god or to not believe in any god.

@@HiYesThisIsJake i respect your thoughts, it's good that you're progressive and you attribute it to your belief, But if you think logically organised religions are called organised for a reason, that reason is it defines you, your life, because it gives you doctrine to follow, it gives you laws to follow, which are fixed and cannot be changed by mere humans as it's given by the God, and since the doctrine is considered as word of God you can't reject it, Now suppose that doctrine says if you believe other than me or if you do not believe in me the bad things would happen to you, now this motivates a good hearted person also to reject other Gods and see non believers as someone that needs to be saved, in other words he would never accept non believers, atheists from his heart. Now what secularism does is it takes the law making right from God and gives it to the people of that country, and when people have the right to make laws for themselves they can rectify the laws if it's harmful to its people or others.

I just wanted to put here that I never use the word conservative to mean anything other than "to protect and enrich the already wealthiest." So I think in this sentence you meant religious...or religious fanatic. I retain the use of the word conservative to mean "enriching the already wealthiest" and conservatives are people who will hurt, discriminate against, and disenfranchise *anybody* in order to make rich people richer. That is who a conservatives are. *Someone who hurts other people in order to make rich people richer.* Thanks. I'll keep watching the rest now. Vote Blue!!!🌊🌊🌊

Loving your content. Subbed to my first Patreon for baby Heater! I like that you bring up that faith isn't inherently evil. I was raised religious but eventually opted out because of how stupid and greedy it was, I began to hate the idea of religions. I did mellow a lot over the years. My partner is Christian but very much involved in doing good and community service. It's one's relationship to the religion that's important. The people in the video have no relationship to religion but only to themselves and control

It never sits right with me when people who have never been religious or loved religious people ruthlessly make fun of it.
