I think the actress playing the temporary maid also played Lafe Cricks daughter in a episode of Beverly Hillbillies

That was Muriel Landers, who, at one time, was Ray Bolger's comedy partner onstage. In the 1950s and 1960s, she made the rounds on a lot of TV shows, including Jack Benny's program, the Joey Bishop Show, and, of course, The Danny Thomas Show and The Beverly Hillbillies. She also appeared in one of the final Three Stooges short pictures, "Sweet And Hot", from 1958. It may come as no surprise that she suffered from diabetes and hypertension, and died at the age of 55.

Amazing performer, actress, and singer. Wish there were more recordings of her lovely voice.

That was stupid and offensive that he had to faint just because she's kind of large

I’m so happy they can’t use real animals as props anymore ☹️
