You are a brave woman. Bravo Just a footnote, your misery and the misery of your people are real because of U.S foreign policy towards latin America. Your governments also are corrupt.

7:59 Rather than “transacting” on what the United States “should” do, your organization is better off telling the governments of these countries to crack down on the gang and drug problem stemming from their very own nations - VIOLATING THEIR VERY OWN PEOPLE’S HUMAN RIGHTS. Don’t dare obligate the United States to do anything for these people who are warned never to cross to the US for their own safety (yet they still do) when the nation itself has local homelessness and political as well as immigration problems of its own.

@@flamingforce5130 No, just slavery. The royals, they aren't a gang at all. They aren't funding the RSF committing genocide in Sudan. They haven't normalized relations with the Occupying Entity over Palestine. They're not the US imperialist's slave dogs. It's all a damn lie lmao

Unfortunately, you have the situation in the Darien Gap backwards. I have been there. The people who live there are Embera Indian people. They live in small villages. Their food consists of beans, rice, plantain grown in local plots and locally raised ("free range") chicken. That's it. They also had coffee. They are very generous people. Historically, the government of Panama has not treated its indigenous people very well; including the Emberas. The mental image of hordes of north bound immigrants showing up at villages in the Gap and eating these folks out of house and home is not pretty. While one can feel sympathy for people seeking a better life than what is available in hell holes like Venezuela and some Central American countries, this large-scale migration has certainly had a negative impact on some local people along the migration routes.

WHYIS IT THE UNITED STATES PROBLEM TO FIX A ROAD IN ANOTHER COUNTRY. HERE IS AN AMAZING IDEA, GO TO YOUR EMBASSY, APPL;Y FOR A VISA, GET A PASSPORT, BUY AN AIRLINE TICKET, AND TAKE A PLANE. THE AUDACITY TO DEMAND THE UNITED STATES TAX PAYERS TO BUILD A ROAD TO ALLOW ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. CRAZY TO SAY THE LEAST

Haiti is a totally failed state; citizens can't acquire passports. They talked about how much passports cost in Venezuela, in relation to how much money the average person makes. These people work hard and can't afford food, so how do you think they'll afford visas, passports, and flights? What you're asking is that people stay where they are and die. Human beings will NEVER stop fighting for their and their families' lives. That's just how humanity works.

bruv, you clearly have no idea what the United States government has been doing for 100 years to these countries to prevent them from excercising any amount of significant self-determination. Almost every one of these countries has been ruled by a dictator put in place there by the United States to protect plantations for produce companies, coffee companies, and oil buyers, instead of the people of these lands being allowed to benefit at all from their countries own resources. you live in a little hateful box of ignorance like a fool

@@Optimisticnature123 these are ASYLUM SEEKERS. They are escaping the problems AMERICA has imposed upon them. They have a legal right under United States, and international law to come here. It is a human rights violation not to provide them safe, and secure access to make it here. It's murder!
