As a Kenyan, when I hear of places like South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe etc., they seem like very far off and unreachable places especially on road. But when I see a video like this, it proves to me that the world is a very small place and everything is possible.

I Did this road trip in July last year. We were with my nine and eleven year old sons. From Lesotho, South Africa Botswana Zambia Tanzania and Namanga Kenya. Seven days 5000km. It was fun meeting different people. I must say all the people in different countries were very friendly. But after entering my country Kenya, trouble started. Anyway, I finally managed registering my car in Kenya.

What a nice documentary. I drive from Johannesburg to Nairobi quite often. There are some challenges emanating from narrow roads, unnecessarily delays at the borders and the worst of it is the theft from pickups and trucks in some parts of Zambia and more specifically between the towns of Kafue and Choma. If it happens you are driving that stretch of 250 Km in the evening or at night you should avoid stopping if possible and be very vigilant. Otherwise it a nice and very tiring adventure and especially when you are a sole driver.

It is just too too short for a journey of this magnitude.I wish it was long so that we who want to travel this journey at some point in our lifetime can really appreciate and marvel at the sights and sounds of all the various places and countries the team passes through. It has me yearning for more visuals. As an African from Botswana I have always wished to travel to either Tanzania or Kenya by road and this provides just a small glimpse of what to expect. WOW!!!

So nice to see this. How valuable are the merchandise in transit to be able to foot a 70k fuel bill including duties paid across borders. Plus that vehicle is really consuming lots of fuel. 70k worth of fuel for 4000km. That's a stretch. If u do 10km/l that's 400l of fuel that would translate to 40k.
