0816 M3RC yeah I’m going to have to agree with you on that. I love the era but I don’t like the trilogy all that much because TPM was pretty boring and Attack was not that great of a movie. Revenge is the best prequel movie and my favorite Star Wars movie but even it has some problems with dialogue and some problems with the narrative.

Honestly, Disney should have kept all the "backstory" stuff canon, or at least said "everything before the end of the OT is canon unless we contradict it later" or something like that. They were clearly mainly interested in making post-ROTJ content when they bought the IP, so why not leave all the great details and little stories that gave the universe life intact. I loved the fact that if you went on Wookipedia, every character that appeared for like a frame or two had a backstory. It made the Galaxy feel huge, beyond the scope of the movie Saga. And most of it could be kept intact and not contradict new-canon info at all. Anyway, there's probably dozens comments like this in every one of your videos, so I thought I might offer up what I thought they should have done rather than just complain. I agree. While the new canon did give me a lot I love, like Ahsoka, all the Clones feeling like real characters, Maul's return, Rebels, Jedi Fallen Order, and Rogue One, it still didn't have to get rid of all those great Legends stories too. We lost a lot of good stuff, I'm not the biggest Legends fan out there, but what I have seen I do like so it sucks it's not canon anymore, like Starkiller or all those cool campaign missions from the original Battlefront 2 game.

This part in the amazing Darth Plaguies novel by James Luceno was just fantastic. Seeing (Or rather...well, you get the drill) him in action as a terrifying (yet oddly nonchalantly gentlemanly) butcher in it was always amazing, as he would, being a rather busy Sith lord, seldom go deal with minor pests like the former king here by himself.

All in all, that was awesome! A really cool look at the actions of a fun character we really didn't get to see much about. Also, that sort of paints a sad picture for Amadala, since that means it wasn't too long into her new reign the the Dark Lords changed gear, and had the Trade Frderation, which was already being troublesome, blockade the planet. Then, nor long after, Plagueius dies, so this was one of his own last acts. Always neat to see these shadow acts, perpetrated by Plagueius, or Tenebrous, before the spotlight moved onto the Emperor, and Vader.

I like this video it’s nice to learn about the expanded universe of Star Wars. A lot of people who is familiar with Naboo see it as an idyllic world but compared to other worlds in the Star Wars galaxy Naboo is far from being considered a rich, developed and influential world by Galactic Standards. The location of Naboo was far from main hyperspace lanes that they could benefit from. Also they could not afford ships to transport their goods and relied on the Trade Federation for that service as a result their commodities in particular plasma was sold to the Trade Federation at a fixed price way below fair market value.

What really happened was Plagueis made the midichlorians in Veruna’s body return to their place of origin. Veruna didn’t shrivel up, his life force was just slowly drained. Despite pleading and trying to beg for his life he ultimately succumbed to his death
