These were actually filmed in 2007. I was there in Chicago and stayed up all night to watch.

If this was Marvel, every single shot here would be done in a warehouse with greenscreens and CGI.

So true. This was the last hero movie where they actually went to locations, filmed at night, blew shit up. I always wondered how they filmed that tunnel scene. Amazing

What I love about Christopher Nolan: He doesn’t use CGI in his movies.
@daviddayz2367 Жыл бұрын
He does but he doesn't overuse, and things that genuinely can be done in real life he does it

Christopher Nolan’s clothing style kinda makes him look like Gerald Lambeau from Good Will Hunting. I don’t know if he got inspired from him or not but it still looks cool

Yeah, and he looks like a guy who dropped by the set for just a couple of minutes

1:06 What are they doing when recording to eliminate the sound of the crew's footsteps?
@definitelynosebreather Жыл бұрын
They are removed in the post production through sound filtering. If it's something like talking in the street, they may even record the voices later on and add “street sound” to make it look realistic. Pretty crazy how much effort is put into making movies and TV shows, it's really a hundreds of people's job.

Diretores parecem ser muito bons como gerenciadores de não apenas dinheiro dos estúdios, produtores e investidores, como também do trabalho de outras pessoas, desde os atores, aos câmeras, aos maquiadores, aos encenadores e afins.

Kind of annoying that they never show us any bts footage of Heath Ledger :/
@donaldlove4547 Жыл бұрын
There isn’t much. They purposely tried to keep his image and character as much of a secret as possible, as a selling point for the movie.
@Chubs. Жыл бұрын
@@donaldlove4547 yeah but it's been around 15 years since the release so what's the point now days. Lots of people want to see what he was like behind the scenes and see some insight of his acting process and how he interacted with the cast and crew. It shouldn't really be a secret, especially since he enjoyed working on set so much. It's a bit of a shame :/
@Chubs. Жыл бұрын
@@artofsam There is definitely footage, especially a production on that scale. I'm pretty sure they even filmed him skating around with the 70mm IMAX cameras. Would be cool if they showed it ngl

Thats because Nolan goes through proper channels. You have to get a filming license to film in a park.
