In a recent podcast discussion involving Premier League legends, Ian Wright, Roy Keane, and Gary Neville, big shots were fired by the former Manchester United players. Keane and Neville really could have sworn that they played against some teams who were not clean. “A couple of Italian teams,” Keane specified.
In their conversation, the pair seemed pretty convinced that some of the teams they played against were doping. The former Red Devils insisted that they were fit themselves - didn’t drink, smoke, or do any of that stuff - but they’d finish a very intense game totally knackered and exhausted, meanwhile their Italian opponents would be looking like they’re ready to go on for another 90 minutes.
This statement from the United Old Boys was sort of corroborated by their former boss, Sir Alex Ferguson who said that the Red Devils should have enjoyed more European success during his tenure.
Now, were these guys right about their assumptions or was it all just in their heads? Well, we can’t say for certain, but what we know is that doping has been a thing in the beautiful game for years now. Today, we want to look into the dark past of doping in football.

To be honest Messi doing HGH wouldnt be that wild. He grew up getting it legally cuz he was "too small".. People seem to not mention that when talking about Leo needing doctors in spain to help him get bigger thats why they went to barca.. Only thing that gets prescibed to kids for something like that is HGH.. I had a friend in highschool that was born 3 months pre mature and he got HGH since he was like 7 til he was 12 they normally stop doing puberty cuz its safer.

First off, Pep has since cleared his name in 2009 according to an article by the Guardian (look it up). Everything has been overturned! Guardiola had always maintained his innocence. He filed an appeal to the federation which they accepted and cleared him of all wrongdoing. Secondly, the allegations about Barca doping under Pep were never substantiated with concrete evidence aka. It was a figment of the imagination of Pep haters including Madrid’s president who couldn't fathom Barcelona’s absolute dominance. He couldn't attribute Barcelona’s extraordinary displays on the pitch to its player's exceptional skill and Pep’s superior tactical capacity. It had to be cheating, right? Nonsense.
