The Dark Pictures Anthology Iceberg Explained

I've enjoyed Dark Pictures Anthology for the most part. Man of Medan is soild and underrated, Little Hope was a step down but House of Ashes thankfully raised the bar topping even Until Dawn in my opinion. Hopefully The Devil Inside Me will be even better, I'm also hyped for The Quarry which is not part of this series but made by Supermassive games!

I avoided Man of Medan Bc ppl seemed to trash it when it came out, just got it via ps plus monthly game and I liked it! Gotta skip little hope Bc I’ve seen many play throughs and I’m gonna start House of Ashes : D

@Ali Gürsoy well they aren't cheap tho, they aren't forced cause they get fixed more than the quarry, the quarry does has a fair few downs, the characters at times say the same sentence twice, their lips don't match when talking, it freezes at times. The games are good, not to be rude but people are expecting everything to be perfect

I wish they showed us how the aliens looked before getting the parasite.. I mean it was stated that they were very peaceful and used to communicate with the "language of music".. The transformation humans had before and after the parasite was horrific

Something you didn't mention but I thought was a cool detail, was the curator remembering your playthroughs of the previous games, saying "welcome back, I have a new story for you, it's very different to the last" in Little Hope if you had played Man of Medan, and also saying "it's good to see you again, you're probably keen to get started" in House of Ashes if you have played a previous game.

@@theimortal1974 he knows; if you don't have save files of the previous game on the same device, he doesn't welcome you back. In fact, in one greeting (in Little Hope or House of Ashes, I don't remember) he says something like "I believe we haven't met before"

Eric and Rachel's car in Little Hope is an amazing easter egg but i'm not sure whether it makes sense, because... i mean i should go back to LH and find it myself, but you said it can be found at the beginning of the game, yet they crashed right next to the dinner, and the characters in LH are miles away from it until the very end. Maybe i'm just missing something, but i feel like the location doesn't make much sense. Anyway that's just a small thing bugging me. Great vid mate ;)

*Spoilers for Little Hope* True, but honestly, given that Little Hope is all happening in Anthony/Andrew's head, it wouldn't surprise me if he had just been driving his "passengers" in a circle and was heading back to the diner when he got stopped and redirected.

another reason it doesn't make sense to me is the car crash happened like 2 years before house of ashes so very early 2000's but the characters in little hope have Smartphones??

@@perfumeridentityv603 Well it doesn't happen immediately after. Anthony's crash in Little Hope takes place in 2020, and i do think smartphones were already a thing back then. Can't know for sure tho Edit : ah i think i get what you mean, but these are two different incidents. It's not the same crash. The two games don't happen at the same time. The little hope thing definitely takes place in present day, that's why they have smartphones. Besides, Anthony would have looked much younger in the early 2000s. And there's no hallucination excuse or whatever with that, the two scenes happened in totally different ways.

a bug can make it so you can't get a collectable in little hope. there's a picnic table to the left of a metal plaque with a piece of wood laying against it at one point. when i played i couldn't approach the table because the fog kept pushing me back. i reloaded the chapter (not save) and it fixed it.

You failed to mention that the bodies of the Ourange Medan were going thru rigor mortis. Even the person who sent out the S.O.S. That was the spooky part of the legends. And people thought they were transporting a special compound from a Japanese compound.

It's not, because little hope takes place in at least 2020 and the flashback in house of ashes takes place in 2000. So it's sadly not possible

without a walkthrough most people will grab the weapons in medan but combined with no gas mask which people can easily miss because it wasn't there before can lead to multiple deaths. i can see why people are frustrated how easily it is to lose characters and hard it is to save everybody without a walkthrough. but then saving everyone is like the true ending and most games the true ending is hard to get without help.

i love little hope and it's my favorite game by far of the first two but the witch trials part were hard to watch. i've always been disturbed by the witch trials. one of the biggest examples of far right Christianity's monstrous deeds in history.
