Dude you are COMPLETELY full of sh!t. To almost an impressive degree. You keep using words like "definitive" and "objective" when there re very few definitive or objective facts in the realm of psychology. You are falsely claiming that dialog and body language of others with which we have close relationships can identify subconscious emotion. If viewers take your nonsense as fact, you are very likely to be responsible for the irreparable damage to relationships in the real world. I do not prescribe to the appeal of authority in which you must have accreditation to be knowledgeable about specific subjects, we live in an informative age I'm which it is just as likely that someone with a drive and passion can be more informed than someone who did the bare minimum and earned a degree. That said there is also an expectation that someone who speaks to a topic doesn't simply pull bullshit like this out of their ass.

@MrForged You just told people that if someone, even a close friend that you have had a relationship with for years "looks down" or doesn't respond in the specific manner that you mentioned, that they're envious and will likely act in a malicious manner or otherwise intentionally sabotage your efforts. Do you not see how incredibly irresponsible that is? Honestly? Behavioral analysis is far from an objective science and even proponents of it clearly agree that individual behaviors vary wildly and a baseline must be established. You don't see the potential damages that you may cause by insinuating that very basic and common reactions and body movements are definitive indications of malcontent?! Perhaps I am incorrect about my opinion on the appeal to authority and acredation. Perhaps it isn't necessarily the subject matter itself that is essential but the ability to understand how and when to properly apply the principles. More importantly understanding the consequences of irresponsibility. It is not about whether or not you take responsibility. It is about the damages that cannot be repaired to relationships in the lives of others. You cant unstrike a match. This is the kind of content that inevitably leads to the further implementation of heavy handed policy from the platform. I would much rather you reflect on the obvious and significant flaws in your logic rather than rely on policing from an already smothering authority.

@@BrettShadow Mate, you don't have to overthink it. Perhaps my tonality & certain words I used may make everything sound like this is an "eternal absolution" of some sort, but really Its not. Its just my way of delivery to add some oumph to the presentation. Just take it with a grain of salt and yes, I'm very careful with my social circle that is why I pay attention to these little things. If you've been betrayed/swindled before in the past you probably would've understand a lot more and become even more aware/sensitive to these circumstances. Regardless, I'm not changing anything, cuz its just my way of approach in life. Just don't think of it as a sin that I choose not to approach it the same as you do, its freedom of choice here mate. Currently struggling with envy. I gave up on my chance with a cute girl that I really like because our ideologies and mindsets are radically different, and I know that a relationship would never work between us. Despite knowing this, I still have strong feelings for her, and recently found out that she's dating one of my best friends, who supposedly held the same views as me and who was fully aware of my feelings for the girl. I had to suffer for months because I wasn't willing to give up on my principles for her, but as soon as she gave him a sign of attention, he threw everything out the window just to take the easy shortcut. No integrity, no honor, no character. Now I'm angry and jealous, but I know who I am, and I know where I stand. I will not throw my beliefs away, and I will learn how to master my emotions. Thanks for this video

In my opinion, there's a 3 step process on ridding yourself of the strong emotion of Envy 1. Accept your envious state whenever you are feeling it 2. Whenever you are in a place of solitude, write or type out one thing in your life that you're grateful for 3. Perform some action that makes you feel fulfilled and moves your life's needle in the right direction

Thank you for your work ! As someone who has struggled (and is still struggling, to a really unhealthy and nasty level) with envy, this video is really helpful. I have friends that are genuines good persons, but I must admit I feem envious of them about many things, and I would hate to ruin our relationship because of it. I really hope I can eventually achieve the positive transformation you speak of, because at the moment I alternate between feeling envious and feeling like crap for being envious because I know it is wrong and repulsive. Have a nice day !

I have shared this video in a private Facebook chat with friends. This was... painful but necessary because I am the envious friend. Most of my friends are partnered, married, have children or have no need for these things. I've been aware of this for some time and I've confessed these feelings to those I call "friend" or even "brother" but I doubt they understand the depths of this feeling that seems to consume me in my darkest hours to the point of wanting to take my own life simply because I lack the trappings of a fullfiled and meaningful life. I recognize it's all surface level BS but it still fucks with my mind and my heart every damned day. If what you say is true, than I am at best dead weight or at worst a parasite feeding off everyone around me. This is no way to live.

I think everyone should get out of their own heads and focus on your soul. Your head is your ego. The persona you identify as. Ego isn't always a bad thing it's just how it's conveyed or thought.

the prophylaxis and/or antidote to envy is as much education and work as possible [when you’re young], risk v reward life path options and short but intense recreation fully occupying your mind and body, while gaining insight from potential mentors with short intervals of fun, significantly reduces the likelihood of envy however, you will be the target of much envy when you get to where you were headed … be prepared

Great video man, always enjoy watching them. I would like to hear your thoughts on hypergamy. I recently found out about this and I’m finding difficult to comprehend. I get the whole rich guys always win, but why? What if I don’t want to be rich?
@Forged88 Жыл бұрын
Hypergamy is a 2 strategy plan. One, lock down the best genetical disposition for your future offspring and Two, lock down the best provide for your long term security/survival/prosperity. Ideally you can fulfill those 2 strategies, but in the real world its seldom the case, so you split your time between the two, one to have fun with and one to build a family with. Its never about "rich guys always win", its also about the "Hot guys always win".

Takes time to accept it, and please stay away from pron. It will ruin your intimacy & performance in bed.
