On April 10, 1912, the Titanic, the largest ship in the water, left England on her maiden voyage to New York City. Despite being touted as the safest ship ever built, four days into the journey, on the night of April 14, the ship struck an iceberg and sunk into the ocean.

I knew it was going to be an AI video even before I clicked on it. There's nothing new covered here, the Titanic had more lifeboats than was legally required for the time and even if there were enough lifeboats for everyone they weren't built prolonged use in the open ocean. There was no scam to sacrifice third class passengers for first class. There's so much wrong with this video largely because it is AI and little to no effort was made to actually research it

Agree- awful, sloppy, nothing new, no research. A channel to ignore.

16 wooden life boats, 4 collapsible boats. Total 20 boats. It's called re - search. Try it, it's fun.

Drunks are known to survive a night in a snow blizzard so perhaps inebriation was what saved the cook.

Hubris struck again! We have seen this play out, over time, when hubris & ego leads any decision, it generally leads to disaster. ✌️🌷😔

Even if there was enough lifeboats for everyone on board they still wouldn't have the time to launch them all🙏🏻

Were the third class passenger really locked in the lower decks as depicted in the 1997 film?

The fact that they had taken away the few boats, just because they wanted to make the ship more beautiful? That was stupid!

Thia video is wrong....the safety guideline at the time did not require the ship to carry lifeboat for all passengers, may sound crazy but that was the norm at the time, and all other major liners were the same, not just Titanic. In fact, Titanic have lifeboats number actually exceed the law requirement at the time.

The real tragedy is the loss of cargo as well. The thousands of tons of Hellmans mayonnaise that was ultimately destined for Mexico. The loss was so devastating to the nation that they celebrate the terrible loss every May fifth , and this is why we have the day of remembrance called Cinco Dey Mayo.

"The millionaire's captain" they called him. He navigated about 1500 people to their demise. Including millionaire's. A very large percentage of his crew survived! He exercised ZERO discipline over his subordinates as they clambered aboard lifeboats to safety. He is an embarrassment.
