Actually, I don't believe Lincoln ever had a death mask made. He did, however, have 2 life masks made in 1860 and 1865 just months before his death. Disney used the first life mask, made by Leonard Volk, as the basis for the animatronic. I believe they even show it during the Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln pre-show in the lobby. So fear not, you are looking at a president with a very much alive face xD

I would think that they won't be adding the Help Clown back into Small World, because he finally got the help he wanted. It's more likely the joke was something like, the clown was afraid of heights, and was wanting someone to bring the balloon down. As for the Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, I thought you were going to talk about the time when the hydraulics on the animatronic malfunctioned, causing the red fluid running it to bleed through Lincoln's shirt, and the animatronic to slump over in his chair, which made a guest watching the show jokingly exclaim that Disney had recreated the assassination of Lincoln.

There was a time when Di$ney tested a sit down, wireless head phone wearing, dark presentation where you were listening to a photographer getting a hair cut before he was to take the photo of president Lincoln days before he was assassinated. I don't know how long it was tested for but it was a chilling experience to say the least. The sounds of the scissors, room sounds and out side sounds made you feel as if you were in there with the barber and photographer while they talked about the upcoming event. I cannot recall if we was at Di$neyland or Di$ney World when that test was conducted...Any guesses???

I was at great moments with Mr Lincoln once At Disneyland and part of it was barricaded by these black walls and this guy wearing a really fancy suit guided us around in the lobby before the theater, and basically gave us a free tour explaining all of the stuff there, but I’m pretty sure he was just watching to make sure we didn’t get too curious as too what was happening with the black barricades, he was very knowledgeable and made the experience super enjoyable for us, but you could tell that this was not part of the attraction. I’ve been to Disneyland many times, me and my family always visit Mr Lincoln, but this was unusual. We were the only ones there, and the attraction was still open like nothing had changed. He stayed in that area by the barricade when we went in to see the show. It only ever happened that one time and the next time I went there it was back to normal. It was really strange and I think they were hoping that no one noticed. Still have no idea what was going on there. If anyone has had this experience as well, and/or knows what went on, please let me know!

I think the clown in balloon is just afraid of heights. As for good ol' Abe Lincoln, I've always heard that it was from his actual death mask, but have to wonder: If that's true, how did they get permission to take a mold from the original? Mr. Disney know someone?

One time I was in line for It’s a Small World, and in front of us two things were going on. 1. There were too many people on a boat and one was morbidly obese. The boat was sinking and they couldn’t get it going through the ride, and wouldn’t bring them back and take some people off for some reason. Eventually they did though. 2. Somebody needing a wheel chair was getting on and they were having lots of trouble. Both of these things were happening at the same time (or in quick succession, I don’t really remember), so we waited right at the front of the line for probably over 45 minuets.

I can't believe they let that beaver just keep on gnawing on that wooden pole....that could cause some serious potential risks.

Out of the few things I remember from the trip to DisneyWorld back in 96... I only ever really remembered the car crash in Mr Toad's Wild Ride.. I was little and I don't remember much of that trip.

Mr toad's wild ride scared the crap out of me when I was younger, as well with the Snow White ride with the snappy alligators. A lot of fairy tales are dark & twisted.

The darkest thing I ever witnessed at the Disneyland Resort was not from an attraction but from something I saw happen one rainy December night at California Adventure. I noticed several cast members and security guards looking inside a stroller that had a blanket put over it. I couldn't see what was inside but I could tell the Cast Members seems really upset by it. After watching for a few minutes, a security guard then took the stroller away and I noticed some of the female cast members crying. I asked if everything was okay and one of the male cast members said with a smile "Yes everything is fine. Why wouldn't it be?" This was... well... kinda scary. It wasn't until years later that I discovered that Disneyland and California Adventure were popular spots in SoCal to abandon unwanted babies and infants. So yeah... darkest thing I've probably ever witnessed in my life and it happened at my favorite place on Earth... PEOPLE SUCK!

This video misses the real dark side of disneyland - all the workers and casts get paid bare minimum wage while CEO gets $400 million dollars.
