“I think the saddest people always try their hardest to make people happy because they know what it’s like to feel absolutely worthless and they don’t want anyone else to feel like that.” ― Robin Williams People struggling with mental illness often hide behind a facade especially if it's those closest to them that they care about the most. It might be for many different reasons they don't want to upset them, they want them to be happy, they don't want to feel like a burden. It's a very dangerous idea to think that just because someone is smiling on the outside and laughing that it means their okay or they don't feel like their dying inside.
@kennypalmer38894 жыл бұрын
What's "mental illness" to you and others, is really just your subconscious abuse. The realist people are perceived as "mental" to those that are naive and only know superficial. When real people give you every reason to be your true self, and you're still superficial, then they know they're invisible to you. They're just an object or label for your assumptions and validation if not also your grandiosity. They know words won't work with you, because you've reached the end of reason. In this case labeling others you can't understand because you don't even understand yourself, is really just you labeling yourself. You feed the necessary monster, because you're the real terrorist and monster to their humanity. Everyone is different. We just pretend to be someone we're not for conditional acceptance. When you finally accept reality, the truth will destroy you. But hey, you can always rebuild instead of pretending people are "mental" just because they don't sell their soul like many of you for conditional acceptance hahahaha

Both Kenny and Dave F make good points. I think Kenny is talking about general wellbeing, not being phoney, keeping your soul real and not trying to please others. One thing that people get wrong is that Heath Ledger being the Joker didn’t kill him. He was already having sleeping problems way before taking this role, hence why he was taking sleeping pills. I always thought him being the Joker ruined his mental health, but it didn’t. His mind would never “turn off” so he turned to sleeping pills to help him and that’s how he ended up overdosing.

"A happy boy." Just speaking from my own experience, depression doesn't mean you don't look "happy" around other people. I often have days when I feel and (I'm assuming) appear entirely fine, especially in social situations where simply being with other people and having fun is like a temporary high. I do some acting both in film and on stage outside of my primary job, and even on some of my worst days, I know I often appear overly excited and energetic once I'm there and working. It's a huge contrast to those moments when I'm really struggling, which a lot of people - including family members - may hardly ever see or recognize. I don't necessarily make a conscious decision to "hide" my depression, but it's rare that it will show when we have family over to play board games, or I'm in front of a camera, or having a conversation about something I'm passionate about. The moments between those are when I'm usually hit the hardest. Having a good time can be exhausting, and once I've reached that point, it gets very difficult to try or even want to interact with other people. I'll go sit in the bedroom by myself, work on laundry, maybe watch KZbin videos in my car for an hour in the parking lot before going into work... Even if I recognize in that moment that I should get out of my head and go talk to someone or just be with them, doing so might feel impossible because I'm running on fumes emotionally and physically. I'm rambling by now, but my point is that depression is rarely something that you'll be able to spot in others, even if you're close to them. I was having suicidal thoughts for years before my wife ever learned of it. It's not as though she only ever saw me at my happiest, but I hid from her and others when I was at my worst. I was too afraid to admit what I was considering, and too tired to gather the energy to beat that fear. Even now, I still hide it more than I should. It's not something that's just cured. It never fully goes away. Your depression doesn't stop when you fill your life with as much joy as you can. So try your best not to hide it. Tell people about it. I know it can be hard to convince yourself that it's nothing to be ashamed of, but it truly isn't, and you absolutely deserve all of the help you can get and more, even if your mind is telling you that you do not. Don't just take care of yourself. Let other people take care of you, too. Let them know you don't always feel happy. Maybe they'll tell you the same. Share your struggles. Accept that you won't always be happy, but that you can get support when you're not. You can make it through.

The Truth About Joker in The Dark Knight Heath Ledger played the role of 2 Jokers in The Dark Knight. In a standard deck, there are usually two Jokers. Only Christopher Nolan, Johnathan Nolan, and Heath Ledger were the only ones in on this secret. There are 2 Jokers in a Deck of Cards and it was all to be revealed in The Dark Knight Returns but due to Heath's passing the World never knew the truth in revealing the true “Ace in the Hole” which was his Twin Brother. Both Jokers are ex-Special Forces and Twins. For the sake of my argument, I'd like to introduce the 2 Jokers, One Joker specializes in Explosives Ordinance Disposal. Which we shall call "EOD Joker" The Other Joker is Military Intelligence. Which we shall call "MI Joker" Both are very proficient Special Forces Operatives. In the first scene, during the bank heist, The henchman asks Why do they call him the "Joker" and argue that "he thinks he can sit this one out" Where did they get the Bronco? Who supplied the Weapons, Gernades and Ammunition? It was MI Joker, while the Bank Heist was carried out by EOD Joker. Who supplied the Transportation? It was MI Joker. In Regards to the origin of the Scars Military Intelligence Joker states it was his father who was a Drinker and before executing Gamble While EOD Joker tells Rachel his scars come from his wife, getting into deep with the Loan Sharks, at Harvey Dent's fundraiser at Bruce Wayne Penthouse. While Military Intelligence Joker tortured Brian (Batman copycat) EOD Batman was setting the explosives and mixing Ammonia Nitrate. While Military Intelligence Joker carried out the attack in which Harvey was acting as bait, he was eventually captured and kept in Gordons Cage, While EOD Joker was wiring up Rachel and Harvey Dent. It was not Maroni's men that wired up the 2 locations, it was EOD Joker, who rigged the henchman, and the 2 locations. As an "Inside Joke" for his brother Military Intelligence Joker, EOD Joker switched up the locations in which Harvey and Rachel were being held. While At the Docks, Military Intelligence Joker burns his half $6,328,000,000 of the 12.6 Billion Dollars ripped off from the Mob. While EOD Joker is at the Gotham General Hospital rigging up the Explosives which will bring it down in one hour. EOD Joker interrogates, Harvey and sets him free. They never state what happened to the Mob's other half this is a Major Plot Hole. In one hour, it was not possible for Military Intelligence Joker to get across Gotham City to Gotham General. While GPD/Gordon was all over Gotham trying to find the Bombs which Joker promised to detonate if Coleman Reese was kept alive after one hour. At the Tower, Military Intelligence switches place with EOD Joker and takes charge of the hostages. Arriving with Chechnyans Rottweilers who arrived directly from the Docks after feeding upon him. While EOD Joker switches places with MI Joker he finishes wiring up Liberty and Spirit ferries. The detonators on each of the ferries at the end were linked to the bombs on the SAME ferry, not the other ferry. Both Brothers are huge into Game Theory. During the “The battle for Gotham’s soul.” Batman saves Military Intelligence Joker, MIJ talks about his " Ace in the Hole." Many think it's Harvey Dent, which his brother freed from Gotham General. In reality, it’s EOD Joker, who has left Gotham with the remaining fortune of the Mob. Which will be utilized to create more havoc around the world and lead into The Dark Knight Returns. While Military Intelligence Joker sits in Blackgate Penitentiary waiting for the return of his brother the True "Ace in The Hole." to break him out. This was what truly was meant to happen. I’m posting this for I have broken the Nolan Code of all the Nolan Movies and Shows (Westworld) and am aware that both are Messiahs for the Black World of Technology. Black World/Projects uSAP/SAP.

Even jack nickolson has stated in the past that the joker role consumed him, I understand that mental health plays a big part in the actor’s life, but seriously, even the brand new joker in the stand alone film coming out soon, he also looks disturbed, with all due respects to heath losing his life because he was dealing with issues of his own. Even I experimented on myself and locked myself in my dorm room and put my mindset as the same as the joker, though i didnt put makeup on, i finally began to understand what joker truly is, he is the deepest, darkest secrets and desires of the humans mind to create chaos just for the hell of it, thats why i will always love DC, because if u play as a normal marvel villain or whatever, u get finished with the movie and move on, but when u become the joker, it still haunts u and that is because of this one very simple fact: No matter how pure and kind hearted we are, mankind will always harbour our demons, and while we can never get rid of them, it is up to us to keep those demons at bay

Sounds like he had bi polar to me. "Mind racing" "Unable to sleep". That would explain how he was able to churn out such an amazing performance on that film. He was probably in a manic state of creativity - which is usually when artists do their best work. It would also explain the sudden fits of depression that followed. We all die. At least he died doing something special and leaving us with a performance that is going to be remembered long after the rest of us are gone. So I can think of worse ways to go.
