what you said made 0 sense, we are not stuck at all, you can't compare his unfinished story with the finished story of gon, kurapika will let us see a lot of places of the world too just in the proper time,after the boat we have the fake continent, then the DC where exploring and moving around and surviving will be the main theme, and once he comes back chances are we are getting to see kakin again to check on wobble and whatever new place togashi decides to reunite the protagonists. And this is just as far as we know, he could end up going to a lot more places.
