We knew that he was a brilliant mind and a groundbreaking engineer but he had his darker times too.

It has been revealed that there was indeed an "M. Pendleton" who served Cadwallon ap Cadfan, King of Gwynedd, in 630 AD Wales. And the mystical machines he created to defeat the Northumbrians are recorded in a newly discovered codex which clearly show the distinctive designs which he labelled "spirographian cycles". It can no longer be denied that the modern day scientist and the medieval Welsh alchemist are actually the same person. You must be commended for publishing these precious plots, for they dictate the connection between earthly power and divine inspiration.

You almost stole the grand reveal. Michael Pendleton of Basset Lane West in Warrington is set to discover a revolutionary process that allows arbitrary nuclear electron spins to be created in any atom. These esoteric "plastic" atoms are formed by the use of tiny quantum cogs which he will invent. This one discovery is set to change the course of materials science forever. He is at this moment being inspired by his Father's old spirograph set that was found in the attic for him. His mother thinks he will be an engineer just like his Great Grandfather who stood on the footplate of the steam locomotives from Chester to Llandudno for over 50 years.
