Isn’t it awfully interesting how the American “justice” system allows things like that to happen, while obsessing over drug possessions? The court system will put people to death, while if you or I were to kill someone threatening our lives, (because the law continually did nothing to help) we’d be imprisoned for it. They say what goes and doesn’t, when and how they want, with no consistency, fairness or consequence, and people just accept it as good. That’s why the families of murder victims aren’t involved in deciding upon punishments in the US. The law cares nothing about how everyday people feel about the crimes that directly affect their lives.

Dull swords can still kill. In theater whenever you do a fight scene there's always very strict rules on how the prop swords can and cannot be used and it's very strict because they can indeed still cut with enough pressure or if there's a specific accident. Another foster parent told one of the younger kids that she now sees why they were abused, deserving of it. The adult children are starving and living in dangerous places, no one from the state is helping them adjust to basic adult life like: Helping them learn how to drive, how to catch a bus for work, shop for food, or even doing a welfare check on them. The state has blocked their donations from being used to help them.

I've talked with various people who know her personally over the years and whenever I catch a glimpse of her as I drive past I just feel sad.

The worst part is, our justice system is so awful and people wonder why many victims don't go to the police or report r@pe and SA. I have personal experience with cops making excuses to get me to not press charges when I was a minor and I was SA'd. The thing is, even if your attacker does get punished, unless they've attacked tons of people, they'll likely know who reported them. I've been r@ped and I didn't report it because I'm genuinely terrified the person will somehow find me. If they're capable of something as horrible as r@pe, I don't wanna know what else they're capable of. Our justice system has little to no interest in truly protecting victims

I saw a documentary like 2 years ago about the Turpin family but it was told from the perspective of Louise’s sister Elizabeth. According to her, she & Louise were m-worded by their grandfather, & Louise protected her by taking the abuse in her place. Elizabeth recalled how she looks back & wondered if this trauma made her “go insane”-a potential foreshadow to how she tortured her family (I personally think she was just born evil). Not only that, but Elizabeth lived with David & Louise for a time & she experienced a living hell, to put it nicely; when Elizabeth finally escaped, she was so desperate to get out she didn’t put much thought into the kids-something Elizabeth says she still carries an enormous amount of guilt over to this day.

You get used to whatever environment you grow up in. A lot of people who grew up in negligent/ab*sive households, once they get older, will end up seeking that out, sadly. And they’ll be completely unaware that they’re doing it, because that chaos is just the norm to them. They’ll seek out partners just like their own abu$!ve/negligent/dismissive/disinterested parents, and start their own little chaotic families, without even consciously being aware they’re doing it, if they aren’t careful. I’ve been there and didn’t even realize I was doing it until I got older, became aware that I was doing it, then looked back at my absolutely shitty upbringing, and was like, “ahhhh. THAT’S where that comes from….” Luckily, I realized it before I put down roots with my narcissistic ex. He absolutely screwed with my head, damaged my reputation with many people, lended a hand in the destruction of several friendships/connections, but at least I managed to get away from him and he’s several someone else’s problem now. Crap like that is why you gotta be really careful about how you raise your kids. You raise them in a really toxic environment, and they’ll soak that up like a sponge. Mental health doesn’t need to be treated like it’s a taboo subject. For the longest time, I had an undiagnosed condition and thought my constant “up and down” mood changes, at the drop of a hat, were a totally normal thing. Thought that feeling the full spectrum of emotion within 30 minutes was totally normal. That going from mellow to irate to mopey to manic, in 3 minutes was something literally everyone did. Apparently, that’s not normal…

Man and I got 10 days in jail with no chance for Bell for missing court for a DUI I got for trying to kill myself. I was living in a tent in the middle of the woods at the time and so I had to start walking 48 miles to court because they would just pick me up charge me again with skipping Court with a fine then they schedule a court day to schedule a new court date for the one I missed then let me out at 3:00 in the morning without any of my things. So I had to end up walking 48 miles to get home anyways quote unquote home. And each time they take me to jail to schedule another court date they let me stay in there without Bell to wait for that court date. But luckily this guy who's a cocaine dealer got his Bell was only 5000 bucks he paid it that very night so he got to go home I was homeless dirty and taking a shower in a few weeks but they needed to hold me for 2 days till Court tell them I could go so I could just walk to the forest and eat my dried fruit. All because I was waiting for my social security for the brain injury I received a few years earlier that caused me to have a minor stroke an so on. It's so fun. Oh then I got 10 days for smoking weed days before I had to pay rent and my PO could have let me out anytime so I could have went and done my brain scans that were being done but no she made me serve that whole time my puppy ended up running away and getting stolen too. Remember people weed is legal unless you have a p.o. then they'll try to get you kicked out losing your house you just got and everything because you have it in your system. I guess I'm more dangerous than this guy God knows the DUI and the weed could have killed thousands if they didn't arrest me and make me stay in with no bill lol
