The day I met Reverend Billy Graham

In the summer of 1980, at a low point in my life, I traveled to San Jose to attend at sermon by Reverend Graham. Little did I know that I would be meeting him face-to-face.

As much as I’ve been starstruck when meeting a favorite celebrity, I’ve learned that there’s a vast difference when standing in front of a Man of God, specially when they’re entire lives are committed to His service. The “anointing” is what makes us stand in awe. Such a wonderful story. Thank you for sharing. 🙏

Há uma história que se conta aqui no Brasil que ele ( Billy) foi pregar o evangelho para à Marilyn Monroe, no entanto, ela, com repulsa, acabou lhe dizendo que não precisava de seu Jesus. Dias depois acabou falecendo. Não acredito que pelo fato dela não aceitar nem se converter a uma determinada crença,teria que pagar com a morte repentina, embora que morrer é uma coisa inevitável para todos nós. Se por acaso fosse assim, este Jesus seria muito injusto e vingativo.

Billy was a Mason

Indeed, very commendable. A Mason is a man who professes a faith in God. As a man of faith, he uses the tools of moral and ethical truths to serve mankind.

@@TomBleecker Sorry Tom, but one cannot be a Mason & a Christian. They are mutually exclusive. At the core Masonry's God is veiled Luciferianism & contrary to the teachings of the Bible. The only 'Worshipful Master' is the way, truth & the life. Christ died for our sins & was resurrected by ABBA the Father. Placing yourself under any Man &/or Masonic Oath is contrary to Christ's teaching, & essentially a Mystery Babylonian tradition of the Synagogue of Satan. 🙏

@@righthand7965 While you are certainly entitled to your opinion, I feel strongly that you would be hard pressed to find Christians who would agree with your position that the highly respected Reverend Billy Graham is not a Christian.
