flamingos filter salt water in their mouth, that's given me a multi billion dollar idea, of course I'll have to run it bye the flamingos first.

I remember standing on rhe Maid of the Mist at the base of Niagra Falls thinking how amazing it is that the river runs dry. Its SOOOO powerful and just a staggering amount of water goes over the edge every second. You get a sense of how big our big blue marble is, juwt how much water there is on this planet. Truly one of the most transformative places on Earth that will make you feel tiny. Everyone should visit them one day

Scientist have found water trapped in rock miles below the surface of the earth and it's estimated to be 3 to 4 times the amount of all our oceans, lakes and rivers put together!!! It's called Ringwoodite! I believe that this water is from Noah's flood especially because I believe that the Bible says something like God locked up the waters after the flood! It's pretty locked up trapped in rock!

A somewhat sad fact about the first story on lake natron: It’s only somewhat perfect for the flamingos. The adults have no problem with the conditions but the juveniles sometimes do. Once the lake dries and its protection vanishes they have to trek to another water source. Sometimes the salt solidifies around the youngsters' legs to the point that it weighs them down enough to prevent them from keeping up with the rest of the flock. It has its perks but it also demands sacrifices every year, even from the flamingos.

Please use Metric/Imperial systems in tandem. Like 30 Celsius OR 86 Fahrenheit. 20 Kilometers OR 1.4 Miles. You have viewers who use the Imperial system, and for me I have to stop the video and convert to know the depth or mile or whatever you're explaining. I've become addicted to this channel, but it's frustrating when I have to stop to convert.

Now don't get me wrong, it's hot as all can be but as long as you have a couple water bottles with you you're okay. It's actually pretty cool because all of the gas stations and stores will give you free water if you can't pay for it, because they understand the danger of getting dehydrated in that type of area.

That’s 140° F. Even if it didn’t quickly scald you and melt your skin off you’d very likely die from heat stroke very quickly. Most people can’t stand 115° F to wash their hands for 20 seconds. Injury can occur in water over 120°. For further context, pork is considered cooked through at 145°F. …so if you were at all serious, there ya go.

Lake Natron seems like any normal lake to me, those Lake Nyos & Lake Monoun of Cameroon were oversaturated with CO2 & a catastrophe was round the corner after the 1st one erupted in 1984 resulting in 1700+ casualties but what if the polar opposite of these - the oxygen rich oligotrophic lakes were there in Africa, now an even bigger danger has been posed by an oversaturated lake much larger than Nyos spanning across DRC & Rwanda, these issues are more serious than man made global boiling scenario

That's why I am gonna come back and listen to it when I go to sleep or smth. So I don't have to concentrate and disagree with what I hear. Lol. Yea I know, I'm picky. Ohh and he said 60°c and 50°c both will burn you 3rd degree in 5 minutes. I know water transfers heat really well, but I lived in places 123 f and the air doesn't burn in 5 minutes. Also there are parts of the desert in Saudia Arabia I think that get hotter than death valley even, but he quoted that as 54° c so its got to be the water? Or he's just wrong. U can cook an egg on the black top in Phoenix, but I used to walk across the 12 foot or so of blacktop in bare feet, both ways, without running so must be the water. Or wrong.
