At 22, I had a life saving d/c and I wasn't pregnant. Imagine I wouldn't have lived thru these policies. Chilling to think. I'm now 65 and have had an amazing life. If you think it wouldn't apply. After the procedure, I went back to a camp where I'd been working to recuperate. The camp director showed up armed at my room bc someone had been making threatening calls to the camp. Someone at the hospital who didn't have all the information on my situation was able to get my contact info. These people are so unhinged they jump to conclusions. Very scary.

This has nothing to do with aab0rṭion. It has to do with closing hospitals or units in hospitals. This particular case the hospital did not have ultrasound which is necessary to diagnose an ectopic pregnancy. So, it has nothing to do with any state law limiting aab0rṭion. Just to be clear.

Why did the hospital close it's unit? The truth is, the first medical facility she went to didn't have ultrasound capabilities which is what is necessary to diagnose an ectopic pregnancy. The hospital staff couldn't just open her up without confirmation. An ectopic pregnancy requires surgery, not an aab0rṭion.
