I live in Texas. This state is NOT pro-life. Life is not protected pre-birth, after birth, as children grow and develop, or for adult women. Primarily old, white men want to exert control over women and don't care about the consequences to women and children (up to and including death). Those people who truly hold religious beliefs about abortion (that are counter to Biblical teachings) have decided that they have the right to control decisions made by people who believe differently (which is counter to our Constitution). I frequently think of the Bible verse that says,, "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." Jesus did not specify that the sin was only about adultery; neither is the current "sin" only about abortion.

Taking a medical procedure off the table for doctors and their patients is cruel and unusual misogynistic punishment. This belongs in the doctors office, not Congress! Steph was already getting sick of "anti-woke" restrictions on her teaching, and when they also got an abortion ban, they decided to call uncle Pat in Michigan and see if they could move in with me for a bit while they found jobs and a home here. It was only until 2023 that Waltz signed a law into action to finally help children being born after failed abortions. Shouldn’t it concern you that these children are breathing, fighting for life, and are indeed babies? Nothing changed between the moments the children were living and growing inside the womb and then continuing life outside other than the choice to step in and brutally stop that natural process. Even Waltz, medical professionals, and others had to agree that after pre-maturely forcing those babies out they were alive, a child, and should have the right to life saving measures at the time of the pregnancy term. So then the question is: Should we put a limit on when an abortion shouldn’t be available? Currently Waltz has signed a bill saying there are no limits and if a woman suddenly changes her mind for any reason, at any time, even during the last term, she has the right to terminate.
