I grew up just off Queen's Cres. during the 1980's. You always had to watch your route and watch your back but it was never as bad as it is now. There were a lot of fights & occasional stanley knife slashings to the face as a 'warning'. A lot of those who grew up in the area wear the scars but they didn't die in such a hideous manner as todays gangs. Something has to break the cycle of such futile murder ! These kids all face the same problems with education, work and prospects and the challenge is hard enough without them killing each other. Many of their parents lived through civil war and everything should be done from within the community and outside in social services & school to break the cycle of sectarianism and bring hope to these kid's lives.

Great videos Kid Nerd, I been watching on and off but needed to correct you on some of the bits, I plan to also do this on your new videos if I know any new information so people know the actual stats/etc: Sorry to be nitpicking -The dezzie case , dotty gun jammed as he attempted to shoot at the group and the group was about 15 not 20 and he was with one of his boys, can’t remember the name, and he escaped but dotty wasn’t so lucky and they tripped him while chasing and stabbed him 14 times not 15 -The Mitch case, Mitch wasn’t attempting to get into a taxi, what happened was he tried to get into a random civilian female who obv panicked as she thought she was getting robbed , had she driven he might have survived but they obv dragged him out of the car - Mitch wasn’t on job like that and he had actually left the area but kept coming back to the hood!! -The culprit case, u should have mentioned that about a week or so ago culprit shot at one of active gang members (if you know you know) missing him so this was retaliation and it was a revenge because this kid was being abit of a problem. I don’t remember it being a ZK I think it was a machete actually
